BROTHER, I CRY FOR YOU

BROTHER, I CRY FOR YOU.

There are so many words we have left unsaid, so many songs that you have written with that warm smile that I have not listened to.

We used to be close like the clouds in the sky; we drift apart but always follow the other.

In a world like ours, that is what keeps us peaceful. However, as we float our way through the world and look at the mortals down below, you always evade my touch and meddle in the lives of the less fortunate. Sometimes, I call your name.

( Do you hear me, brother? )

No. Never.

As millennia pass by, your radiant blond hair much like mother's disappears on the horizon to brandish your bright smile to women with names and faces that you will never remember.

And I am left behind.

I hate the way you play with hearts like your little fiddle and leave me to pick up the pieces.

But what am I to do?

You have always harnessed the rays of the sun

and I

the might of the moon.
