I would like to thank all of you who decided to read this story. It is by no means finished, however, I have come to the decision to re-write it.
There are a few reasons I have decided to re-write this, one being that the plot was quite intricate and not well planned out at all, therefore I would like to remove or flesh out some parts. I think major events/characters will remain the same, however.
But the second reason is more of a bigger issue that needs to be addressed.
The bottom line is that I portrayed some really quite dark and sensitive issues which I have no personal experience of and therefore romanticised these ideas. I'm referring to the implications of rape and abuse that I included with Midoriya's backstory.
I deeply apologise for this. I had meant for this to be an innocent story which instead turned into something more mature, including issues that I don't feel qualified to write respectfully about.
It is a great privilege of mine to have not been in these very real and extremely traumatising situations. I did not take into account potential victims of these situations that may come across this story and allowed readers to potentially feel that it was okay to romanticise these events.
I am sorry. I can't expect anyone to forgive me because the way in which I wrote about it was wrong and completely insensitive of anyone's feelings.
I am going to unpublish the original chapters. I can't promise any chapters soon because I need to create a proper plan going forward.
