My Brothers Best Friend (Jack Johnson Fanfiction)

Chapter 2

Mellisa's POV

Oh my god, I can't belive i get to go to MagCon with my brother! I never thought in a thousand years my mum would ever say yes to letting me go. I guess I am nearly 18 now.
I ran up to my room and pulled out my suitcase from under my bed. It's been so long since i have used it i'll need to wipe the dust off it first. I looked through my drawers and wardrobe for clothes to take with me when i heard a knock at the door.

"Come in!" i yell thinking it was just my brother wanting something, but when i turn around it's Jack (J).

"hey what's up?" i ask looking at him

"I was just wondering if you need any help packing or ....uh something" he said scratching the back of his head nervously.

"yeah that would be great thank you" I said to him placing one hand on my hip and another on my head trying to think what i needed him to do "could you go into the bathroom and grab my shampoo and stuff?" i asked 

"yeah, sure" he walked into the bathroom. "you've been up here for 3 hours and you have bearly packed anything yet" he said with a slight laugh coming out of the toilet with  a bag of stuff.

"Don't judge me!" I playfully punched his arm "this all doesn't happen magically, you know" i said motioning to my outfit and make up laughing.

"ahh you don't need that stuff anyway..." he said quietly, I just blushed.

"you really think so Jack?" i said looking at him.

"I know so Mell, you are beautiful without all that makeup" he said gently stroking my hair, He was leaning in about to kiss me when my room door flew open and my brother came running in. Hopefully he didn't see any of that.....

"hey guys! Mell you almost packed?" he asked looking at me expectantly "cause we need to leave in like an hour" 

"yeah just about thanks to Jack, he helped me. I don't know what i would do without him" i said shyly looking at Jack (J), he just smiled.

"okay then...." my brother said and he walked out.

"i'm gonna go and leave you to ...uh ... finish packing and uh ... stuff" Jack (J) said then walked out of the room. I just stood there trying to figure out what just happened. I was just about to kiss Jack, I didn't even know i liked Jack like that. He's my brothers best friend, I can't like him.... can  I?...
