"Finally" I mumble under my breath, after a long day of work I was finally able to leave, Mr Johnson my boss had asked me to lock up the café so I did.
I was on my way back home when I saw a group of men only 3 houses away from ours, I slowly walked towards our front door.
But I couldn't stop my sudden urge of curiosity so I quietly walked behind a giant tree and lurked from the side to listen in on what they were talking about.
5 minutes passed I was still standing there and the only thing I was able to properly hear was one of the men telling the others to "stand streight boss is about to pull in".
That's when i saw a car pull into the drive way of the house and a tall man with dark hair got out of the car wearing a fancy tuxedo I was impressed by how tall he was, I was so distracted that I hadn't realised that someone was standing behind me.
Someone had gripped my shoulder I thought to my self "shit I'm so busted" I didn't know what to to so I screamed and turned around only to see Rosie standing behind me, I grabbed Rosie and ran into our house I didn't have to look back to check if anyone saw us because I already felt the strange tall man's eyes piercing into me, I have never felt this scared.
