This is an AU where they never died and Alex and Willie own an apartment together.

"I love you. Bye." Willie got off the phone and walked over to Alex.
"How are your parents?" Alex asked, looking up from where he was sitting at the kitchen table.
"They're good," Willie pulled out the chair that was next to Alex's. "Um... they said that they wanted to see me and... meet you."
"Oh..." Alex looked down and started fidgeting with a bracelet that Willie had gotten him. He had always fidgeted with it when he got nervous and Willie knew that.
Willie reached forward and grabbed Alex's hands in his. "Hey. It's going to be okay," Willie leaded his forehead against Alex's. "We don't have to go now but I'd like to go before the end of the month. Okay? I haven't seen my parents in a while and I know they've been asking to meet you."
Alex nodded.

"We will see you tomorrow!" Willie was on the phone with his parents again. "Mhm. I love you, too. Bye."
Willie put his phone down on his nightstand and turned back towards Alex who was snuggled up into his side.
"I'm scared." Alex started fidgeting with his bracelet again.
"Why?" Willie seemed worried.
"Like, what if they don't like me or what if they think that I'm not enough for you?"
"Why would they think that?"
Alex shrugged his shoulders.
"Do you think that you're not enough for me?" Willie asked Alex.
"Sometimes." Alex whispered, a tear streaming down his cheek.
Willie was surprised at this. "How could you ever think that you're not enough for me?" Willie sat up holding Alex's face in his hands, wiping his tears with his thumbs. "Alex Mercer, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love everything about you and I love that you're always there for me and that you worry about me every time I fall off my skateboard even though I say I'm okay you always check up on me. I love how happy you look when playing the drums and your stupid smile that always makes me smile. Alex I love you and it hurts that you don't think that you're enough for me because you are. You are everything that I could ever want and more. I love you so much."
Alex gave a soft smile and pulled himself into Willie's embrace. "I'm sorry." He said after a while.
"You have nothing to be sorry about." Willie said, pulling away and holding Alex's face again.
Alex nodded and Willie pulled him in for a kiss on the lips.

*time skip to the next day*

Willie drove with Alex in the passenger seat to his parents house. When Willie parked the car in the driveway, Alex could feel his anxiety rise. Willie took his hand and intertwined their fingers, giving him a knowing smile as they walked up to the door. Willie dang the doorbell and his mom opened the door.
"William!" She pulled him in for a hug. "You must be Alex!" She said, pulling away from Willie to shake his hand.
Willie and Alex went inside and had lunch with Willie's parents as they talked and laughed. After a few hours, it was finally time for Willie and Alex to leave. Willie was hugging his parents goodbye. They stood by the door, hand in hand, getting ready to go.
"It was really nice to meet you, Alex," Willie's mom said. "I hope to see you again soon."
"It was nice to meet you too." Alex said, smiling.

*time skip, a few hours at Willie and Alex's apartment*

Willie plopped down onto the couch next to Alex, wrapping his arm around his shoulders and pulling him in. Alex laid his head down on Willie's shoulder.
"I love you so much." Alex whispered.
"I love you too."
