Chapter 5- the goblet

It was finally the day people could put there names in the goblet. You had been with Cedric from the moment you saw him the great hall at breakfast till just now . He had his hand on your leg because he could tell you were nervous for him.
"Hey, it's fine. I won't die if I'm chosen I promise you"

As he stood up he grabbed you hand and held it as he walked away, he went into the age ring and he was fine. He put the parchment in and everyone started clapping including you. He walked back over and picked you up, he sat back down and put you in his lap as everyone else put there name in.

He came back to the Gryffindor common with you and everyone just stayed in the main area just talking.
"I'm going to the bathroom I'll be right back"
You walked up to the bathroom and locked the door behind you.
You felt warm tears coming to the surface off your eyes, you were scared for Cedric you were his best friend and just the thought of loosing him hurt you.
All the girls thought you love him even tho you really didn't there was 3 years between you and anyways you didn't believe in love like that.

After 5 minutes there was a knock on the door.
"Y/n? You ok?"
It was Cedric, you walked out with no tears in your eyes and just hugged him.
"Yeah, I'm fine. How are you?"
"Im good" he picked you up and took you back down stairs. Everyone was just talking about how soon the triwizard contestants were coming over.
"There coming over tomorrow! I mean can you believe it" seamus said repeating the word tomorrow
"I know it's mad I don't understand why it's so early"Harry said sounding baffled
"Well it may be because it's more dangerous and you also have to figure out your own clues, they may want the contents or whatever to be a bit more prepared" you said sharply."Moody much" Harry muttered. "I'm Sorry, I didn't mean to say it like that" "It's fine" Harry replied to you

After a while you got tired and fell asleep with your head resting on Cedrics shoulder, he wrapped his arms around you and pulled you into his chest keeping you warm. By the time everyone had gone to bed he picked you up and carried you to your bed. He laid you and covered you in a blanket kissing your forehead "night little sis" he whispered while walking out of the girls dorm and into his own common room.

He walked into his common room to see he friends waiting for him, when they noticed him one of them said, "sooo how are you and y/n?" "Oh my god, will you guys shut up about y/n shes practically my little sister. I don't like her she's also 3 year younger than me might I add" Cedric rolled his eyes and continued, "and anyways there's this girl in ravenclaw, her names cho, cho chang she's beautiful and funny I really like her." His friends were shocked to hear that he actually liked someone! No one had said anything for a while now, "I'm going to bed, I'll see you guys in the morning"
