My Little Helper (Dabi X Male Reader)

Chapter 1

Your POV

   I walked through the conference room and took my seat near the back. The speaker began after I had sat as I was last to arrive. He began to talk about the upcoming hunt the heroes would be going on to find the villains that attacked UA. I knew the place and had helped treat many of the kids there. My quirk is cell regeneration so it was helpful on the one kid.... Izuku I think his name is. He broke lots of bones at the beginning of the year and several other times. Yesterday they had brought in three kids, Izuku being one of them, that were injured in a recent villain attack. We had to prepare the hospital for injured heroes after the hunt to find the villains. The man stopped talking and we were all told our assignments, mine was to tend to the three students that were brought in. They were third years now and were nearing graduation. No doubt the villains would attack then which is why they had to find them now. 

   I walked down the hall to the room they were being held in. I had my clipboard and water bottle, water just in case I got tired using my quirk. I knocked and then walked in. "Dr. L/n!" I heard Izuku yell excitedly. I laughed, "I'm just a nurse Izuku." He nodded and looked to the other two boys. There was a blonde one that kinda had hair like a Pomeranian, that must be bakugo, Izuku always talked about him while being healed. I recognized the other as Shoto Todoroki. He had been here before after stain attacked. "Nurse L/n" Shoto slightly bowed but winced a bit. "No need to hurt yourself being formal Shoto call me Y/n." I smiled and he nodded. I looked at my chart. "Looks like Katsuki will be first then Shoto. And lastly Izuku." The two boys nodded but bakugo made no acknowledgement that I was here. I rolled my chair next to his bed and sat down. "Where is the current pain?" I always ask even though the chart says where the wound is located just in case they miss something. He scoffed. "My stomach and arm." He had an angry aura about him, I didn't want this to take too long. I nodded. "Can I lift your shirt to see the wound?" He nodded silently. I slowly lifted his shirt to reveal a large burn. 

   I wonder which villain did this? I set my hand on the burn and felt him cringe. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath and let my quirk do it's thing. About five minutes later I opened my eyes to see both wounds gone, even the scratch on his face was gone. He looked surprised. "That was awesome Y/n!" Izuku was first to say something. I laughed and grabbed my water drinking some. "It was impressive, I'm curious what it feels like." I didn't expect a reaction from todoroki but there's always a day for firsts. I stood and rolled my chair away from bakugo and over to todorokis bed. I sat down and asked the question again. He showed me a large gash on his chest that looked to be like the skin disintegrated. That's odd it's the same one eraser had a few years earlier when the villains first attacked. I nodded and rested my hand on it I closed my eyes and breathed in. I could feel the skin reform under my hand. It was almost close when someone burst in. "Midoriya!" I opened my eyes. Lemillion. He always came by when Izuku was here. "Shhhh he's in the middle of helping todoroki!" Izuku frantically waved him out. "Whoops sorry Y/n!" I smiled feeling todorokis wound fully heal. "It's fine he's all done anyway." Mario smiled. "You guys were so brave against those villains until we came to help!" Izuku laughed and Bakugo scoffed. Todoroki didn't react too focused on where his wound was. There were no scars left with cell regeneration. 

   "Y/n did you already heal Bakugo?! I just saw you come in here. I was gonna follow but I distracted." He laughed. "Yeah I've been getting better at speed." I stood up and moved my chair over to Izuku. "So what'd ya break this time?" He smiled. "I didn't break anything I just got caught by shigaraki!" Shigaraki? The one who decays things? I nodded. "That's great where's the wound?" I asked looking over his arms. "He got my leg and my hip." I nodded. I took the covers off his bed and rested my hand on the exposed wound. I closed my eyes and took another deep breath. I felt the wound close under my hand and heard Izuku mumbling about how he thought my quirk worked. I honestly couldn't tell him however much he asked. I finished and opened my eyes and smiled. "You boys are on bed rest until tomorrow. Ok?" I got a grunt an ok and a yes. "I'll be back to check on you tomorrow morning. And Mirio you know where to find me if something goes wrong." I bowed and made my exit while mirio and Izuku waved. 

   I waited outside the meeting room until the heroes were done. Once they were I was let in. I sat next to my boss, I looked at the plan and where they thought the hide out was. I gasped seeing my house across the street from the building they were investigating. "Is something wrong Mr. L/n?" Eraser Head looked up at me. I shook my head quickly and bowed. My boss sighed. "He lives across the street." Eraser nodded. "You can stay in one of the UA dorms until our investigation is over." I nodded and bowed again. "Thank you." He nodded. "Go collect your things I will escort you from the hospital." I nodded and thanked him again and walked out. I sighed once the door closed. Just have to go there once and then when I go back it will be villain free. I took the elevator down and walked out the front of the hospital and threw my coat on beginning my walk home. I walked home always to get in my exercise for the day, plus it was only twenty minutes or so of a walk. 

   I got my street quickly and smiled at the fresh air and smell of the bakery on the corner. I got to the front of the building and pulled out my key card and swiped it. I felt like someone was watching me and I ducked in quickly and pressed the elevator button but I felt someone watching me so I turned around but someone grabbed my neck before I could. "Not so fast little mouse."
