"So anyway that is how I ended up working at a box factory" the man finished.
Jungkook looked at the man, then at the paper in his hands, then back at the man."You're hired", Jungkook finally said and leaned back as the bald man in front of him smiled widely and thanked him, God and his second wife. Truth be told, he wasn't sure that the man would be suitable for a job at a boutique, but he liked his determination. Plus, nothing interesting ever happened at his work. Or in his life, anyway.
"You can start immediately, mister Locke."
Mr. Locke rushed out of Jungkook's office and into the shop. So Jungkook put his feet on his desk, popped open a beer, and took to eating some sunflower seeds. Work sure was hard as a boutique owner. Especially when your father is the third richest man in Korea who pays for everything, including his son's hefty monthly salary. And the salary of the now two employees. And any other business expenses that Jungkook knew fuckshit about, as they were responsibility of his work and life assistant, Min Yoongi.
Min Yoongi, who was now calling Jungkook and being ignored. At the seventh call, the businessman picked up with a sigh, adjusting himself in his seat.
"Hey, hyung", the younger greeted, crumbs of sunflower seeds falling out of his mouth and on top of his very expensive shirt.
"Don't 'hey hyung' me, kid" the older responded, his voice laced with a pinch of disappointment, but above all, full of tiredness, "you were supposed to send me the job applications before you hired someone who worked at a damn box factory."Jungkook laughed. It was still comical to him that Yoongi took his job seriously. He would get paid if he did nothing too. But hey, Jungkook guessed, at least, with Yoongi working his responsibilities shrunk from one to none.
"Look man, I'm sorry. But he had determination!" Jungkook whined, and Yoongi sighed on the other line and hung up. After all, it was his job to help the younger, not babysit him. Speaking of, he made a mental note to find him a new cook, as the old one had been annoyed by Jungkook into quitting.Jungkook opened another beer and left his boring office, car keys in hand, ready to get a speeding ticket. Collecting speeding tickets was one of his hobbies, and it just so happened that if he got one today, he would make them five hundred. I deserve it, he thought, after today's hard work.
As he drove, he browsed through his Spotify to pick the song that felt just right. Until suddenly his car stopped, bumping into someone else's. His pretty, expensive, new car. Jungkook's fucking baby. He rushed out of the car, ready to rip the idiot in front of him to shreds.
