When we went back to our apartment, Matt left for his apartment in Norwich and Dan came to our apartment with us.
"I will go to the supermarket to get some of these cookies that taste delicious!" Corina said and ran out.
We turned to look each other weirdly.
"Are you sure you are okay?" I asked him.
"Actually... Not exactly. That's not important for you but, my dog in Cyprus died. He was my buddy. Rex." He said and his eyes were full of tears.
"Oh Dan. I know how you feel. My dog Mayra died 2 years ago too. We were best friends." I said and looked down.
"The big problem is that my dad will bury him and I won't have the chance to tell him goodbye." He said and tears started rolling off his cheeks.
I was staring at him without knowing what to say as Corina walked in.
"I found them!" She said and started jumping. She saw him and stopped.
"Da... Dan? Are you okay dude?" She asked and moved closer.
"Yeah, thank you. It's just, my dog died." He said.
Corina is animal obsessed. That's why we are best friends.
"You know what? I remember the time that my cat died. I was crying for ages. But then, I realised that this is life." She said and sat.
I just can't believe that she shared her personal stuff with Dan.
Dan stant up and hugged her tight.
"Thank you, very much."
She smiled.
All at once, Dan was happy, again.
