**August 11, 1990. 5 days after Emma was born**
Karrie was in the kitchen when someone knocked her door down and barged into her house. She ran to the living room and the man flashed his eyes black. She knew what he was, he was a demon. She ran to her room and locked the door. She grabbed and pen and paper and quickly wrote down 'Gabriel you are Emma's father, please take care of her. Love, Karrie' Just as she finished writing the short note the demon busted down the door and ran in. Karrie sent a prayer to Gabriel yelling for help just as the demon stabbed her in the stomach.
Gabriel got there a minute later ans saw a demon standing over Karrie. He stabbed the demon in the back with his angel blade and ran to Karrie. He was too late, he couldn't heal her because it would be no use she lost a lot of blood. Karrie died in Gabriel arms. He held her for a minute but let her go when he heard the faint cry of an infant. Gabriel walked into thee room and saw a baby laying in her crib. Gabriel remembered the note he saw in the other room. He ran and got it and came back he read the note. He dropped the note and walked over to the crib which had 'Emma Grace; carved into the side of it.
He picked Emma up and looked into her eyes, she had bright blue eyes just like her mother. "Its OK little ill take care of you," Gabriel said before he zapped back to where he was staying.
