We love you Zayn, forever and always. We support you even if it means leaving the band. Just as long as you're happy. Thank you for a great five years of making great music and causing us to cry on your high notes. And leaving our poor Harry to fail your high notes in his adorably charming way.
Much love,
Me and hopefully all your true fans
________________________Rain drums on the roof. Thunder rolls dully in the distance. I sit annoyed, next to a window watching the rain drops patter on the glass. The sad, gray clouds darken the sky and cast an eerie shadow in the room. Eve, who sits across from me, dozed off a few minutes ago and Rose is curled up next to her. Michelle and Violet stand and mutter quietly, leaving me alone with my thoughts.
My mind churns and spins almost as wildly as the storm outside. It's only been three hours since my transformation but it feels like three years. After being transformed into one of the capitals beasts, I've rested on the ledge next to the bay window, taking in the beautiful white forest below. The branches are laden with snow causing the poor branches to bend under the weight. They will probably turn to ice since the rain hasn't stopped yet.
A sudden hunger rolls through me and interrupts me from my train of thought. I crave food, yet not food. I think about what I'm craving, sweet or savory? But when both come to mind my mind turns both down with a frown. Then what am I craving so badly? Then I smell it, sharp with a tinge of iron.
I turn my head to the scent and spot one of the stylists who cut himself with the trimming scissors. A line of crimson trails down his thumb. The hunger inside me grows stronger and I stand up, thinking that maybe a taste would satisfy the monster in me. But my conscience cuts in, the human side of me, "What are you doing?" She screams. "You can't just drink his blood, you can't succumb to their ways, don't become the monster you know you hate." I shake my head and plop down on the cushion again.I still can't grasp the idea of me being a full blooded vampire now. The monsters that I've hated since I was a child. Disgusted, I lay my head down on my arms and allow the steady patter of the rain lull me to sleep.
I awake to someone shaking my shoulder gently. I slowly open my eyes to meet Rose's hazel ones. "Hey, we're going to leave soon and they need us rounded up so they can take us to the warehouse." She says gently, looking around at everyone else with wary eyes.
I sit up and stretch my arms,"Alright thanks." I don't know how long I slept but either way I definitely felt much better. Awake. Vigilent.
She nods solemnly before walking over to Eve and murmurs something lowly.
I stretch my long legs and start over to the growing herd of girls waiting by the door. Curious, as the girls around me mutter and exchange words, I ask a small brunette next to me,"What's going on?"
She turns and peers at me under thick lashes,"They are getting ready to take us to the warehouse for job slotting." Her mouse like stature trembles slightly, I sigh inwardly and sympathy washes over me at the sight. It's not right what the vamps are doing to us. It's shouldn't be done to anyone, being treated like cattle. Harvested, picked apart and chosen to do awful things.
Still staring at me with an intense gaze, she expectantly waits for me to say something. "Thanks, I fell asleep for a while so I must have missed that announcemet," I shift my weight. "I didn't quite catch your name by the way, I'm Clara." I hold out a hand and she takes it cautiously.
"Viviana."she murmurs.
"Viviana,"I repeat. "What a pretty name."
"Thank you."
I flinch when a blaring siren sounds, filling the room, causing everyone to jump and huddle close.
"All right everyone! Listen up, everyone will load quietly and obediently if you value your lives. Understood?"A stern female voice shouts above the siren. I can't quite find the origin of the voice and decide it's useless in the thick wave of girls. "Good, now get going," she yells as everyone moves ahead to an open garage door where it leads to the opening of the back of a large trailer.
