" It hurts a lot..." Kevin moaned and dug his head deeper inside the space between Commander Erwin's shoulder and neck.

"It's going to be fine." Erwin whispered and hugged Kevin more tightly.

" Do you you need to go pee or something ?"
Asked Erwin as he stepped down the staircase leading to the garden.

Kevin nodded in denial.

"Okay... Well then let's go."

"Where ? " Asked Kevin in a meek voice.

"Umm nothing, just close your eyes and relax, okay ? " He said patting Kevin's head as he began to head towards Doctor Jaeger's clinic which wasn't very far from where they lived. In fact, it was in the same vicinity.

DOCTOR JAEGER'S CLINIC

Erwin knocked on the door which was answered a few seconds later by none other than Doctor Jaeger.

" Ah Erwin ! It's a pleasure to see you, what brings you here ? " He beamed.

Erwin pointed his eyes towards Kevin.

" Ah, so Levi junior's my guest today. " He said patting Kevin's back.

" Come on in." He gestured.

Erwin stepped into the clinic which was lightened up by so many lanterns hung on the walls and by the glass ceiling through which sunlight poured in. It was spacious and spic and span. It smelled of fresh roses which Dr Jaeger had grown in his big garden right next to it.

" Take a seat Erwin. " Offered Dr Jaeger as they stepped inside his office.
" The little lad's still sleeping ? " He smiled.

" Nah he's just resting." Erwin said sitting down and he adjusted Kevin in his lap which woke him up. He looked around himself to see where he was and tried to comprehend what was going on.

" Hello Kevin ! " Said Dr Jaeger delighted and he extended his hand out to greet him.

Kevin's vision cleared up and as soon as he saw Dr Jaeger, he jumped up and turned around, holding Erwin tightly by his neck.

" I don't want a shot ! Uncle Erwin ! I don't want a- !" He started crying.

" Hey, shh calm down Kevin, he isn't giving you a shot. " Erwin said pulling him down on his lap.

" Noo !! I don't want it ! " Said Kevin putting one of his hands on his bum to protect himself and tightening his grip around Erwin's neck with the second.

" Uh oh. I always scare little kids off. " Said Dr Jaeger smiling. He stood up and took Kevin in his arms.

" Uncle Erwin ! Uncle Erwin ! " Kevin screamed and pulled his arms out and tried to go back to him.

Dr Jaeger sat down on his armchair and carefully positioned Kevin on his lap so his back was facing the ceiling. Kevin was still screaming and crying. Dr Jaeger rocked his legs up and down rapidly while stroking Kevin's lower back and then pressing it after short time intervals.

" There, there... Shh, that's like a good boy."

And to Erwin's surprise Kevin stopped crying, the hiccups siezed and he started to relax.

" This is how you calm a crying baby Erwin." Dr Jaeger smiled a big smile, he was definitely proud of himself.

" I'm impressed. " Said Erwin laughing.

Kevin started to close his eyes gently, he was surely loving it.

" I guess you should stop, he might doze off."
