My life is a mess first, my (ex) Bestfriend Destiny was sleeping with my (ex) boyfriend behind my back. Well... I'm a lesbian now but still he was my first boyfriend and the first person I ever had sex with. My first real kiss was with him and my first date. Second, the girl I was talking to is now my twin brother's fiance. She used me to get closer to my brother and it worked. Now she acts like we never happen.
Third, my parents aren't to thrilled that their only daughter isn't into men. They've tried to set me up with boys when I was in high school. But guess what it didn't work I'm still into women whether they like it or not.
I looked at my best friend Jessica she's been my bestfriend since junior year of high school. It's weird having a new bestfriend especially since Destiny and I were bestfriends since we were born. Our mothers are bestfriends so we grew up together.
"What's wrong Noelle?" She bumped my shoulder with hers. "Nothing." "Mhm are you sure it isn't Stacy ignoring you again?" I rolled my eyes at the sound of her name. Ever since she's moved in with my family I no longer exist. Like she wasn't just calling me at 3 in the morning and spending nights in my room.
"No I'm not worried about Stacy she's Nolan's problem now not mine. I'm tired of working in that damn building." The hell hole of my life is no longer school. Its work now my dad is making me work there. Me and my brother both do and we all know the company is going to him when my dad is ready to retire. "What's wrong with working for your dad's business?" I looked at her.
"Girl everything one the guys in that building. I don't know how many times I can say I'm flattered but I'm a lesbian." She laughed. "And let me guess they respond back I can make you straight." I nodded. "Some men are stupid." "Mhm very. I tell my dad but he doesn't care. He thinks I need a man but it's not my fault that I'm not into men." She grabbed my hand.
"Girl I know the feeling of my dad wanting me to be with a woman." Jessica is trans she was born a boy. But to be honest she always looked like a girl I've seen pictures and videos of her. She looks just like her sisters and her mother. "Your situation is way more serious than mine Jess." She squeezed my hand.
"Not anymore fuck that man and his stupid new wife and her annoying ass kids. My mom moved back out here and she gave me then basement. Well I asked for it the basement is like a fucking apartment. It doesn't have a kitchen but I don't cook anyway." I smiled and hugged her. "I'm so glad that you're getting out of there." I tried to convince my parents to let Jessica to stay. But they weren't having it at all.
"Girl me too. We have to go shopping so we can decorate my room." "Definitely." My phone buzzed I grabbed it my mom is calling. I answered it. "Hello." "Don't forget to be home for dinner Noelle." "I won't. Why is it so important we have dinner every night?" Jessica kissed my cheek. "I gotta go I'll text you love you." "Love you too and be careful Jess." She gave me a thumbs up.
"It's important because me and your dad have a surprise for you." "Ok." Me and Jessica come to the beach just to talk sometimes.
-At Home-
I walked into the livingroom. I heard my parents talking the same conversation they've been having since I turned 18. "She can just move out Ashley." They never wanted me in the house with them since I came out as a lesbian. Which was when I was 15 few months after I caught Destiny with Leo.
That whole thing wasn't about Leo I didn't really care for him. I know I was a bad girlfriend but I didn't feel anything towards him. Like our first kiss was alright our first time having sex was awkward. I was hurt because the night I caught them I drunkenly confessed my love to Destiny. She rejected me and went to have sex with Leo. I was sober when I caught them and turns out they were fucking the whole time we were together.
"I know but you know Nolan has been wanting to move out with Stacey since they got engaged." Oh this part is new. "Ash the faster we get rid of that girl the faster we can start bringing our parents around." My parents (Ashley Chang and Nicholas Thomas) my mother is Chinese my father is African American. They're embarrassed by me so they don't invite anyone over because of me being a disgrace their words not mine.
"Nicholas imagine our baby boy's face when he hears that we bought him an apartment." "I know Ash but we'll buy him a house and give her the apartment. It's not she'll never give us kids." "Right your right honey I'm tired of seeing her face everyday I just want her out of here." Ok what the fuck ouch.
I shut and locked the door. They stopped talking I put on a fake smile. "I'm home." I yelled and took off my shoes. "Ok dinner will be ready in a bit." I went upstairs I walked into my room. I heard them walk upstairs and to Nolan's room. I can hear them talking to him and Stacey.
"We bought an apartment for you then we realized we would rather have her out than you. What do you think about looking for a house and we'll get it for you." Our father sound excited for me to move out. It got quiet for a minute. "Yea ok let's do it. We'll start looking tonight." "Ok let's go out to dinner to celebrate." Our mother said.
A few minutes went by and they left I started packing my stuff. I don't need that apartment. It took me all night to pack everything I didn't realize I had hella stuff. I took everything to the garage and loaded it into my car. It all fit in here that was a shocker. I left my house key on the kitchen counter.
I got in my car and called Kendall my girlfriend. "It's 7 in the morning." She said. "I know but um is that offer still on the table." I started my car and drove off. "Yes hell yes do you need help packing?" I smiled. "No I packed last night I'm on my way." "Ok I'll be waiting for you." I'm glad she still wants me to move in with her.
