Relationship;
I woke up to an empty dorm, Hannah and Miranda nowhere to be seen. I quickly got dressed, gathered my bag for the day and headed downstairs.
Once I arrived in the common room, I was bombarded by three pairs of arms. "Thank Merlin, you're okay," Miranda exclaimed, squeezing me.
"Guys, I'm fine," I chuckle, giving each of them a hug.
"We heard the thunderstorm and wanted to come but professor Sprout forbade us. Did Malfoy do anything?" Alex said, the hint of disgust clearly visible.
I shook my head, "No. He wasn't there- Ginny found me, actually."
Memories of last night flooded through my mind, images of me straddled on Draco's lap as he calmed me down washed over me.
"Good. The little git would've probably embarrassed you the next day," Wren scoffed.
I let out a soft chuckle as we began to make our way to the Great Hall for breakfast - if only you knew.
-
Throughout the day, I kept falling asleep - today was not the day to be focused in class. I noticed the classes which I shared with Draco - especially Transfiguration - he did not attend.
I needed to go find him.
It was finally the end of the day and Alex pulled me aside as the four of us were walking to our common room. "Can we talk?" He asked, his voice soft.
"Alex, do you mind if we talk tonight? I just remembered I need to speak to McGonagall," I say, quickly.
He hesitates slightly before nodding his head, "Be back quick. It's important." I shoot him a smile, giving him a hug before running down the corridor.
I arrived at the room of requirement shortly after, once I stepped inside the air sent chills down my spine. "Draco..." I called out, making sure my voice was none other than a whisper.
When I received no reply, I decided to go to the cabinet. My suspicions were answered when he began to kick the cabinet.
"Draco!" I called out, running up to him.
He was startled by my presence but calmed down when he saw it was only me. "Go away, Monet," he snapped, turning his back to me.
"What's wrong? You missed all your lessons," I said, moving to his front.
He took a seat on the chair that was left from one of the many meetings we have. "This bloody thing won't get fixed," he muttered, leaning his head on his hands.
I crouched down, taking his hands into mine as I looked into his eyes. "We're halfway there, Draco. Stop stressing yourself out so much, it's only extra credit," I say, rubbing his knuckles.
He scoffs and finally looks up to meet my gaze, "I-I know but I just need it done." Taking in a deep breath, I stood up and sat on his lap - he was taken back by surprise.
"Stop. Stressing. Yourself. Out!" I snapped, snaking my arms around his neck.
His hands were held tightly on my waist, a small smile creeping onto the corner of his lips. "Why are you here?" He asked.
"You didn't come to transfiguration and I didn't see you anywhere else. I got worried," I mumbled.
He let out a soft chuckle as he placed a kiss on my cheek, "I'm fine. Are you okay? You fucking scared me last night."
I knew I would have to explain to him why I was so scared of lightning, I mean I'm 16 and I'm crying over lightning.
"Uhm- I- When I was younger my parents would fight a lot, I never knew why. One day, I had enough so I decided to run away and stay in the shed," I started.
