U.A invite

Moira's POV

It has been a few days and I still haven't gotten anything in the mail about U.A so I just waited like always till the mail arrived "they're not gonna take a kid like me. I should've known better." I thought before tossing myself on the couch and watched TV.

Then my mom yelled for me to wake up and I did "huh? What is it mom" I said as I walk towards her she then turned to me with a letter with the words U.A written on it I look back at her "go on" she said I take the letter and go to my room for privacy and opened it revealing to either my acceptance or rejection.

The night before

Mom came into my room and saw me on my bed reading one of my favorite books "can't sleep?" She asked which it startled me she giggled "sorry didn't mean scare you" she said I sigh with relief and shake my head before digging my nose back into the book. mom looked at me with uncertainty so she sat at the edge of the bed "humor me" she said I took a breath and looked her dead in the eyes "I guess you can say I'm scared" I said it got her by surprise and then I look back to my book and close it.

"Like what would they think of me even if I get in" I said mom grabs my hand and squeezed a little for comfort "you will get in. it's like mr aziawa said you have potential" mom got up from the bed and grabbed the jar of white pillow feathers I had on my dresser and came back to the bed and laying down the feathers on the bed sheets "mom we haven't used these since I was twelve."
I said mom didn't say anything she just set up and took a breathe "when you were about two or so I would do this and it would make you happy everytime you were upset" she then put her hand out in front of the feathers and lifted the feather into the air "let's see if they still make you happy" she said and made all of them float with her mind and I was in an aw. of course the feathers made me happy it would always remind me of when I was a baby and I would laugh and play with them as my mom smiled.

"Ты всегда знаешь, как меня подбодрить (you always knew how to cheer me up)" I said she smiles and hugs me "I have hope that you will get in" she puts her forehead with mine and I read her mind "Я люблю тебя мой маленький огонек (I love you my little light)" and she puts the feathers back before kissing my head goodnight.

Monday morning

"Moira.your gonna be late for your first class" I heard my mom that's when I groan as I get up from bed but I try to think about my first day of school starting at U.A high school. The letter that was sent to me was of my acceptance letter that I got in by my skills and not that Im a villains daughter in any way, shape or form so as soon as I got my stuff packed and uniform on took a deep breath and went downstairs "what do you think" I asked mom looked at me and had her hands on her face to keep herself from crying "it's great but aren't you supposed to be wearing a skirt instead of jeans"

She asked I gave Her a disgusted look "I don't know but there's no way I'm wearing a skirt" I said before grabbing my bags and going to the car.once we had made it to the gate I took a deep breath and went in I didn't know what to expect from this will they treat me differently than my last school
