The next day when I woke up they brought a chair into the room, it was a plain wood chair, I looked at the girl that had brought it in, her hair was in a braid across her shoulder, I tried braiding my hair but it didn't stay together at the bottom. She hurried off before I could say a word.
A few hours later the scientists came and injected me with the fluid again, it was still the blue one though. After they left I sat on the floor and tried to make something appear, once I concentrated hard enough I held out my hand and felt the weight of an object there, I opened my eyes to find a shiny red orb. I looked at it with curiosity, a small stick stood out from the top, I silently laughed to myself. The light flickered and I crushed the orb to make it disappear it vanished before my fingers could wrap around it. I sighed, disappointed that I'm still not able to completely stabilize objects.
The door flew open and three scientists came in, but there was someone else with them, a boy, a man, I backed up against the wall as they led him to the chair in the middle of the room. They left, and locked the door behind them.
The guy had shaggy brown hair, his face was very clean and smooth. He had his eyes closed with his head down, I had the sudden desire to look at his eyes, I stepped closer to him, I noticed his strong arms and his build along his chest and shoulders. As I got closer I saw that he looked around my age, 17, maybe a year or two older.
My touch on his face snapped his eyes open, light blue orbs stared right at me, drowning me. His eyes were so pretty, I looked away blushing. His face was so warm, so soft. I wanted to touch him again.
"You must be scared of me," I said, he looked taken aback.
"No," his voice was deep, it gave me tingles, "well yes, but.. "
"But?" I smiled playfully.
"They said you don't talk," his mouth formed a thin line.
"I do," I said. "Just not to them."
"Oh," he said ever so silently. I went over to my bed and watched the bugs, I looked at them as they pointlessly scurried about.
"They also said your dangerous," he said nervously, as if he had been waiting to get that out.
"Did they?" I chucked to myself.
"Do you know why-" he was cut short by someone entering the room and taking him away.
