Shes A What?!

When I got to the cliffs, my phone rang. It was Alexys. Hm, I wonder why she's calling me. She never calls me, it's always me who has to call her. I decide to answer the phone, just to see if she's still mad.

"Hey, Katie I know the last time we talked I got mad, and I shouldn't have but-"

"Alexys. It's ok. I'm just at the cliffs cause everyone was annoying me. Even Nathan."

"Wait. Hold up. Who's Nathan?"

"Oh ya, while you were to busy being mad at me, I was introduced to Nathan. Who is also someone with wings. And cute. But that's beside the point."

"Katie! You like him don't you!"

"Alexys don't go there. You know the only guy I have ever liked is-"

"Drew, ya ya, I know. But. You haven't seen him in almost two weeks. Two whole weeks Katie!"

"How about I just come over and we can talk about this when I get there, wait, are your parents home?"

"Nah. You're good. They're out 'working late'."

"Alright, see you in a bit. Bye!"

"Bye!"

I hang up the phone and see that I've gotten a text from my mom. It reads, 'When are you coming home. Cause if you're staying at Alexys house a little longer, I need to know.' I text her back saying I'll be home sometime in two days.

I flew to Alexys house so we could talk about what all has happened so far, cause honestly, there's just way to much to be said over the phone. When I get there, I find that a car was parked out in front of Alexys house. It looked like Jason's sisters car. Oh no. I fly up to look in the window at Alexys bedroom. Lights out. And her parents cars aren't here. Good.

I don't even knock, when I barge in and see Jason and Alexys sitting in the living room. Thankfully, on different couches. "What the hell... Is he doing here." I say sounding like a dad who has put his foot down. I get so mad my eyes start to glow. Alexys starts freaking out, and I don't mean like just a gasp, I mean full on standing up and shaking while not even looking me in the eyes. "I...I invited him over so w-we could all have a t-talk." she says stuttering through almost all of it. Probably scared out of her wits right now. I calm down realizing that I just made it really uncomfortable in here. "Alexys, I'm sorry I didn't mean to..." I try to make it better. "It's ok. Um Jason texted me wondering what had happened to you. I told him you were coming tonight and so he just came along." She says still not looking me in the eyes.

I sit down. "Why...why do you always have to tag along?" I ask pointing to Jason. Alexys looks down at her hands playing around with her ring that she's had since sixth grade. The weird thing is that the only time she ever plays with it is when she's really nervous. Sometimes it makes me wonder what she's up to. "Alright Alexys, spill. I know you way to well to not see that something's up." I say with a sigh following just after I said this. "Katie, Jason, there is something I have to tell you. And I don't think you guys are going to take it very well." She says looking up with her eyes but not her head. "Alexys, I'm going to tell you right now that I am here for you and I won't be mad at you. Now it's Katie that I'm worried about." Jason says looking at me and I glare back. "Alexys, what is it." I say rubbing my face. "I'm a vampire and werewolf hunter." She says. "You're a what?!" I say standing up then turn to Jason. "She's a what?!" I practically scream this cause I make both Alexys and Jason wince.
