SThis is a very long rant which I write for myself, for my peace of mind and for posterity.
Onward
My recolections may not be as clearly written as all of My Thoughts which I had written during the times at which these things had occurred. This thought represents my over all recolections proposed a as both a summary of My Thoughts and my Feeling and Emotions attached to this reflection.
The year 2016, an election year one which profoundly changed everything in America and everything in the way My Toughts on business as usual and business as unusual as I would come to see it within my lifetime.
Clinton\Trump both truly astoundingly profane candidates in there own way, each as vile as individuals and as devisive as their platforms and their referendums on America could be.
This recollection of abusive power to me established Donald Trump as the epitome of vailed hatred, racism and xenophobia. Donald Tump was diffenitley the greater of two evils, arrogant, boastful, crude and pretentious about his skills, about his history and about his worthiness as a candidate for the presidency of the United States. Trump is undoubtably the very worst person that any person of color would ever wish to see acquire the highest office in the land.
Even before he thought of running for the office of the president he baggered the man who would become Americans first black president. Barack Obama he claimed had not even being born in the America and therefore Obama was an illegitimate candidate who should not even be allowed to run for the presidency. Though Trump had not invented the racist pretext of birtherism he became it's most ardent supporter. Trump's birthherism ploy resignated well with the simmering racism and ailgned well with the undercurrents of white extremists and conspirists seeking to beguiled the American masses into believing their way of life as Americans were under assult.
By any means necessary, became the shield by which Trump set loose the hounds of hell upon anyone or anything which seemed a personal threat to his power and what he assumed to be his rightful dominion over the United States of America. Trump thus employed powerful stereotypes suspended with theratrical hype and lies to mold a narrative which at times he used to paint himself as the common man, outsider, victim, genius and his most favored persona as savior. Welding religion as a tool to establish an illusion of a rapport with God was little more then a hook to lure a voting base long suspicious and fearful of social issues such as abortion, gays and rampant crime. Grab them by their pussies and extra marital affairs could be tolerated by the religious right so long as he promised to protect them from the hoards of rapist and the waves of South Americas criminals threatening to over run our southern boarders. I'll build a wall to protect you and I will make them pay for it, just trust me.
Serving up a full plate of hatred towards the economic menace which he presented China to be while promising to negotiate new trade agreeents and restrictions so that American consumer goods could be the holy grail it had once been during the start of the industrial revolution and so the American worker would no longer be replaced by the cheap labor found in the east. America first became yet another rallying cry to pit us against them in a similar way in which the cold war pitted democracy against communism.
The billionaire "outsider" Trump would drain a swamp created by and dedicated to the billionaire boys club which he proudly proclaimed his place in while promising to be the new hero of America's working class. Trump claimed victory in restructuring the unfair tax codes which eventually gave billionaires billions more and created the first trillion dollar corporation. While the rich got richer the middle class became poorer and the poor became desporate and dispondant unable to afford rent, the eletric bill and basics to keep their heads above poverty.
The allies we fought with and died with over two world wars became unworthy of our alligence. Rejecting global international treaties on global necular arms, global warming and environmental protections. While Trump cozied up to dictators Putin and Kim of North Korea we turned are backs on the Kurds leaving them to fight unassisted dispite our prior promises to be at their side. Setting his sights on Iran an enemy, Trump pulled out of the only treaty which provided some semblance as a way to oversee and slow down the steady march of Iran to build and equip itself with necular arms. No longer bound by any treaty or oversite the ambitious Iranians quickly moved to increase dramatically their production of everything they needed to fullfil their nuclear ambitions.
Once Covid-19 became a reality Trump reveled producing a litany of names to call attention to where the virus originated from such as the Kung-flu and the China virus all while moving more slowly the an elepant trapped in quicksand to try and prevent the soon to be world wide pandemic from reaping the same deadly curse it had become in China, then Europe and crossing the Atlantic to ravage our own shores. He instead boasted about having Covid-19 under control as he mocked the very health officials he proclaimed to be on his task force to defend our citizens against Covid-19. Four hundred thousand dead the virus tears at America from sea to shining sea as Americans fight each other in supermarkets over the wearing of mask to protect one another. Americans fighting over the precieved loss of their freedoms as once again Trump divids us against ourselves using his newest rallying cry of liberate you states patriots.
Lies, division strewn over his four years in office tricked the idle minded, conscripted the foolish, allied those willing to ride his coat tails to make a buck, and emboldened Traitors who preached sedition as the only means by which America could (MAGA Make America Great Again). Storming the Nations Capital became the culmination of the symptoms unleashed by destroying political civility, creating an illusion of fake news, alegiances of fake patriots searching to kill the Vice Presidentresident and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, conspiraciy theories, the dark state combined along with the enablers which cheered on the delluisons of a mad hatter cast in his own pathetic rendition of the Emperor's New Clothes.
Now the day before the ending of this shameless mochary of the American myth of a peaceful transition of power this is his production of a grand departure from office wrapped in full military regaila will be a spectacal wothrty of the greatest interloper, conman and fraud in American history.
If ever we need to take a look deep inside the mirror the time is now and if ever we hope heal this is truly a time to say God Bless America because now we truly need it.
