Living a Lie

I'm currently downstairs on my laptop studying for this mid-term that's coming up for my math next week. Now I could lie and say that I'm a bomb bitch in math but I have like a 75 average.

"Honey, I'm home." My mom calls out.

"Hey mom how was work?"

Yeah. I live with my mom, my dad died in a car crash last year on Thanksgiving. I miss him so much I just came out of my depression thanks to my mom.

"I was ok I guess, one of my patients died today."

"Oh".

That's all i could say. My mom works as a nurse a fair amount of her patients died this year. She usually talks to me about it but I think it was one of her favorite patients that died.

"Guess it's true, I'm not good at a one-night stand

I picked up my phone seeing that Nolen was calling me. Nolen is my boyfriend of five years. We've been friends since first grade and started dating in 7th grade. Yeah we were young. I must say I was hoeing in the 7th grade but it was worth it.

"Hey hoe"

"I didn't know I was a hoe now, but wassup peacock?"

"Nothing and since the 7th grade you were, but anyway I'm bored so I

called you up I miss you"

"Shut up I miss you too Andrew"

"Don't call me that gay shit my name is N-O-L-E-N Nolen I just wanted to know if you wanted to go out to dinner tonight?"

"It's not gay it's cute, and sure what time?"

"Whatever Isis, and be ready by 8 p.m. SHARP!"

"Why you gotta emphasize sharp for? I'm always ready your just always late."

"Cause you be running on nigga time and no I'm always early."

"Whatever but what is the occasion?"

"Casual."

"Ok bye Andrew. Love you"

"Love you too ISIS!"

I hung up the phone and started laughing. He's a whole lot to handle. It's six so I figure get ready now cause I got to do my hair.
