The sun started to rise over the horizon, giving color to the morning dew. Wind swept over the grounds until it encountered a big house that held many people.
The burrow held family and friends who needed a home after the big war at Hogwarts. The war would still be going on if one boy never existed.
Harry Potter sat at the table, chewing his cereal slowly, rethinking the last week. It has been nothing but sorrow and celebrating and aloneness since the war ended.
"Glad to see you're up mate, you have been in you're room for days." Said a red-haired boy whom Harry was more than glad to see.
"Well you're one to talk. Except I don't think you're alone in your room." Harry winked back. Ron blushed as red as his hair.
Harry smiled. He new perfectly well that Ron was in his room with Hermione all the time, doing who knows what.
The boys attention turned away from each other when they heard somebody very light footed descending the stairs. A flaming red head stepped off the last stair and made her way to Harry.
"Ginny." Harry said with love. He wished they were alone. Ginny and his time was restricted, between the planning of Fred's funereal and visiting relatives, Harry hadn't been able to talk to her and tell her many things...
"Ron, mum wants you upstairs for something." Ginny says after a session of staring at Harry.
"What for?" Ron asks, making no move to get up.
"She says she found something in your room that she would like to ask about." She smirks when Ron blushes red again.
"Oh shoot." he mumbles while quickly going upstairs. Now Harry and Ginny were alone.
"So..." Harry starts but looses his wording.
Ginny simply gets up and hugs him. Not a one-armed hug that is meaningless. She kisses his cheek and then sits next to him at the breakfast table.
"What are you thinking of?" She asks, reaching for his hand.
"Nothing really. How are you? I haven't been able to talk to you in a while." Harry asks, looking solemn.
"Well, my aunts wasn't good. When we came over to tell her the news about-" she squeezes her eyes shut then reopens them. "Fred, she didn't cry or do anything but say that of course somebody died in the war."
Harry lets out a quiet gasp and enfolds Ginny in an embrace.
"I'm sorry." Is all he says.
"Well, now we are a-able to spend some t-time together n-now." Silent tears fall down her face. Harry silently cries too, mourning for the people who died and thinking it was all his fault.
