A/N: it's my birthday todayyy hehe. Hope you enjoy this chapter!
'Father!' Darah stormed into Snape's office, slamming the door open.
Snape looked round at her from his bookshelf, unfazed.
'I know what you did, you monster.' She breathed into his face.
'And what would that be?' He snarled, looking directly into her eyes.
'You know exactly what you did! You obliviated me.' She shouted, this was the most angry she had ever been curtesy of every emotion she was feeling right now. She had never been betrayed like this.
'I did what I had to.' Snape said through clenched teeth, backing her into the corner.
'No! No, no! You didn't have to do anything!' She screamed at him. 'You do not get the right to mess with my life anymore! I may have your blood but as long as I am concerned you are no father of mine!' You could hear the hurt in her voice as it shook and went broke, going high pitched.
Then she fell to the floor, crying more than she ever had. Snape caught her and pulled her close to his chest murmuring, 'it's ok, Darah.' 'You'll be ok.' And she sobbed into his chest.

She sat at the top of the astronomy tower that night, gazing at the stars and the landscape beyond. Scotland really was the most beautiful place for a school like Hogwarts.
Footsteps approached her. She turned around to see who it was, half expecting Dumbledore to be stood behind her, no doubt about to say something whimsical.
It was Draco.
Darah looked away again, not saying anything, just simply watching the world go by, twiddling her wand in her hand.
Draco came and silently sat beside her. The two of them stayed there, in the moment, for a minute, allowing themselves to appreciate nature's true beauty.
'Are you ok?' He asked her, gently, still gazing into the beyond.
Darah hummed. 'I've been better. Why do you care?'
'I didn't mean what I said, about you being a freak or whatever, I don't know why I thought that.'
Darah said nothing.
'If you don't wanna be with me then I get that.' He looked at her reluctantly. Deep down he was distraught.
'I'm sorry, Draco.' She said reluctantly, knowing things could never be how he thought they could. He remembered things differently to her now.
He shook his head. 'Don't be. It's not your fault.' He sighed, looking up with sad eyes an spoke softly. 'Why though?'
'There's stuff you don't know, stuff no one knows. I think he just wanted to keep it that way.' She looked at him hopefully.
Draco half smiled. 'What sort of things?'
'Just... family business.' She shrugged.
'What does he have on your family?' Draco suddenly become sort of protective of Darah, having dealt with many family issues himself.
'Nothing, don't worry. I mean I can't really say anyway can I?' She half laughed.
Draco looked at her pleadingly. He slowly and carefully reached his arm out to her fidgety hand and stopped her from drumming with her wand. 'Maybe we can work things out?'
Darah sighed. 'I'm not sure. It's not that easy.' She looked down at the long drop from the tower.
'Nothing's easy.' He smiled sympathetically.
'Do you ever think about life, Draco?' Darah asked out of the blue.
'No, Loony, I don't.' He joked.
Darah chuckled back. 'I try not to think about it much but we could easily change anything in just one small move.' She paused to shuffle to a more comfortable position. 'I could dye my hair, get a piercing or a tattoo. I could scream at the top of my lungs, I could jump right off this building then Accio my broom just to feel something.'
'And I could be nice.' Draco smirked back.
'We can do virtually anything if we wanted to. But we don't.'
He hummed, appreciating Darah's deep thoughts.
She stood up and held out her arms like a bird in the wind. Her hair flew back, waving around, flashes of blonde and black. She closed her eyes and stood there for a second before tipping herself over the edge.
'DARAH!' Draco frantically got up and peered over the edge of the balcony. He didn't see her. 'No, no, no, no, no.' He buried his face in his hands, clenching his wand so tight it could break. Silent tears swam down his ice-cold cheeks as he shivered looking frantically for his friend.
'Darah!' His voice cracked and he fell to the floor of the tower.'Oh my GOD! That was amazing.' Darah shouted freely.
Draco looked up. She was hovering on a broom mid air, smiling giddily like a small child after you gave them ice cream.
She noticed Draco's blurry-eyed face and slowly lowered herself down to the edge.
'Draco?''Don't you ever do that again!' He shouted angrily, his voice breaking in between each word, smacking her arm weakly.
Darah frowned guiltily and pulled him into a strong, powerful hug. Her face touched his, the tears rolled onto her skin. She gasped and fell back. 'I remember.'
