Fading memories

Goodbye.

(This part of the story is told in the perspective of Yasashi)

I knew coming here was a bad idea, why did i bring her over here. I look at myself and see how bad the damage is, it hurts to move my neck, bullets were all over my body. Rei's eyes start to fill with tears. I'm going to die... i am actually going to die, this death isn't going to be quick... I've done so much for Rei but the one thing i ask her to do isn't going to be easy for her to do... Rei's eyes doesn't stop dripping with tears

Yasashi: My sweet little angel...

Rei: y-yes...

Yasashi: What did i tell you to do when i'm about to die...

Rei: i... I don't think i can..

Yasashi: Are you gonna make me say it?

She closes her eyes not saying anything...

Yasashi: you have to bite my neck angel, you're gonna have to kill me.

Rei: N-n-no! You can still make it!

Yasashi: no honey... I can't.. try and find your way to Japan, find a better life then this one. I will hopefully see you there, and hopefully see my cousin there to..

Rei still looks away from me crying

Yasashi: Do it honey... it'll make you stronger..

(Story perspective changes to Rei)

This can't happening... not the only father figure i have... he can't die.. he can't die... he can't...

Yasashi: I know it's hard.. but do it for me honey.. I left you a note for this exact moment.. it's in my bag. In that bag is also a map to Japan.. make sure you run away from me so you don't have to see me die. I don't want you to see that...

His eyes start to drift out of consciousness and i do the one thing i never thought i'd do. I bit his neck but he had the strength to touch the side of my face and smile

Yasashi: There's a good girl...

Tears still fill my eyes as he dies to my venom, i killed... my one and only father figure. Yasashi taught me many lessons but the most important one he taught me was how to let go at a young age... Yasashi was my one and only father figure... but now, he's just a fading memory...
