Harry's POV
"Harry!" Madison smiles and opens her arms wide. I return the gesture and walk into them, lightly squeezing her shoulders. "I'm so glad you agreed to meet me." She says before taking a seat in a chair at one of the tables in the food court. I join her before looking around the mall as we sit there in silence. "So," She claps her hands happily, taking my attention away from the other shoppers. "How are you?" I shrug my shoulders up and down.
"I'm alright," I look into her eyes and shiver, remembering the dream I had this morning. I would rather be staring into the chocolate, brown eyes I have come to love right now. "How about you?"
"I'm actually really good." She smiles widely.
"Good." I smile back. I can't help, but feel uneasy in her presence. "So what have you been doing with your life?" I ask, trying to break the awkward tension. I don't remember it ever being awkward between us. I knew that she loved me and that I didn't have to feel awkward or uncomfortable around her, but I guess I didn't know what love really was. The love I felt for Madison was nothing compared to the love I feel for Faith.
"Well, I have been going to the University of Southern California in America, but I am currently on summer break so I came back home for a little bit." She tells me. I give her a pleased smile.
"Thats great," I pause for a second. "I'm proud of you." The smile that appears on her face is huge and I don't remember it ever being this big and genuine before.
"Thank you, Harry. That means a lot." I nod my head. "Anyway," She leans her elbows on the table and places her head in her hands. "What have you been doing with your life?" She pauses. "Besides being in a boy band and making it to the top of the world." I bite my lip to think for a minute.
"Um, well I am currently on tour and we're in the middle of making our next album."
"Thats great!" She tells me. "What's it called?"
"I can't really tell you. It has to stay a secret, which sucks because I want to tell Faith about it and how different it is from our last album, but I can't, not yet anyway." She pulls her eyebrows downward.
"Is Faith the girl that was with you yesterday?" I nod my head and smile as her face pops into my mind, not that it ever leaves it. "Are you two close?" I nod my head again.
"Very."
"Do you like her?" An evil grin appears on Madison's face. I laugh and scratch the back of my neck while looking down at the ground.
"About that," I look up at her and she stares at me confused, her smile disappearing. "I'm kind of dating her so yeah, I would say I like her." I pause before correcting myself. "Actually, like is an understatement, I would say I love her not like her." Her eyes widen at the use of my words.
"Love?" I nod my head. "You're in love with her?"
"Yeah, I am."
"Well, I'm happy for you, Harry." I give her a small, but sincere smile.
"Thank you." I chew on my bottom lip before carrying the conversation on further. "So, is there any love going on in your life at the moment?" She smiles and nods her head.
"Actually, yeah."
"Really?" I raise my eyebrow and lean back against my chair. "Who is it?"
"He goes to my University and his name is Brad."
"Brad?" She nods her head yes. "Is he American?"
"Yep." She pops the "p" at the ending of her word.
