Let's rev it up

This is a fanfiction I own nothing of the Yu-GI-OH series, The only thing of mine here are the card ideas that aren't already make by the company. Please leave comments and feedback so I can improve my writing skills. Thank you for taking the time to read this story.

"Looks like its just you and me now Leo, by the way how's Luna holding up?" asked Jack as he speed across the curve with Leo keeping pace at his heels with his duel skateboard.

"Great, I just dropped her off at collage before coming here, said she'd watch up on her tablet when she got a chance" explained Leo, pressing a button on his duel-board to speed up on the side wall curb of the race track with his back facing towards Jack. "Gotta admit, I get why you love this so much Jack, the lights, the cheers, its amazing."

"Its not just that Leo, its being able to inspire as well, to keep moving full throttle" replied Jack as he sped up faster.

"That sounds more like something Carly would say" commented Leo while raising his eyebrow.

"Well this is all me Jack Atlas, Red Dragon Archfiend! Attack Leo's Life Stream Dragon" Yelled Jack, the roar of his dragon deafening the cheers of the crowd, its fist heating up before throwing out its punch.

"Shame on you Jack, you should know already that once I banish one equip spell card from my graveyard, Life Stream Dragon and survive your attack."

"So what, you still take the difference as damage" responded Jack, watching as Leo's life points went from 1000 to 900.

"Oh wow a hundred points" scoffed Leo.

"One point or one hundred points can make all the difference Leo" I set one card face down and end my turn.

At this moment both Jack and Leo where passing by Leo's duel team that took him in as Crow's replacement, cheering their new teammate on as he passed by. Leo smiled while giving them a thumbs up as he passed by, before turning his attention back to the duel. "Its wired though, I understand Crow wanting to face Jack, but he's been pushing a lot of his responsibilities off on others lately, even going as far as to drop off the grid when the New Domino City police force called him in about some old case from when he was still working there. No one's seen him since, not even Yusei had heard that he was coming home from when he last talked to him a few days ago, only that Aki was suppose to come back to take a look at a patient and would be staying with him for a couple of days.

"Its your move Leo" Jack shouted waking Leo from his subconscious mind.

"Ah. I draw" shouted Leo before actually drawing his card, looking to see it to be the equip spell card 'united we stand' a card that gives the monster its equipped to 800 attack points. "I equip united we stand to my Life Stream dragon, raising its attack power to 3700. Now Life Stream dragon attack Jack's Red Dragon Archfiend with Life is Beauti-howl" called Leo, while his dragon shot out a green colored beam from his mouth connecting and destroying its target. While also dropping Jack's life points down to 1500. "I'm catching up Jack" taunted Leo.

"I admit Leo, you've come a long way from the little kid you used to be, adapting and thinking on the fly with what cards you have. I'm yusei would be just as proud as I am," jack spoke with a smile before continuing with more force in his voice "But you still have a long way to go before you catch up to me. I draw." Jack yelled looking at the card from his outstretched arm. Cause I'm about to make my victory lap, and I'll start it by activating the trap card 'Archfiend's roar.' Now by paying 500 life points I can target one archfiend monster in my graveyard and special summon it so welcome back Red Dragon Archfiend." explained Jack as a portal opened up on his left side, his monster emerging from it. "Next I summon the tuner monster Deep sea diva, and when I have successfully summoned his card, I can summon another one from my deck on to the field."
