15 years later

Phone calls

The sun was shining as a teen girl who appeared to be wearing glitter and a large dog ran up to the mailbox labeled Cullen at the end of the drive. The girl opened the mailbox and took out the letters.
"Look Jacob there's a letter from Grandpa Charlie." The girl said to what appeared to be the large red dog. The wolf just nodded back and kinda signaled to head back to the large house at the other end of the drive.
The two walked quickly up the path together for a while. Then the dog split off heading to the guest house before transforming into a young man not much older than the girl.
"I'll see you in a bet Ness" Jacob said calmly. "Tell your mom hi for me."
"Will do Jake."
As Renessme walked into the house she could hear her mom on the phone.
"Mom, I told you Edward and I are fine. Carlisle has been very carful to make sure that none of us catch it. Yes mom, Nessie is doing ok too." Bella said into the phone as she took the mail from her daughter. "No, there's no need for you to come vist. Phil needs you there. Besides Jacob is already visiting and we really shouldn't have visitors at all with Carlisle and Edward both working in the hospitals." There was a short pause as she quickly shuffled though the mail stopping at the letter for Charlie. "Actually mom I just got a letter from him today. I haven't had time to read it."
Nessie reached up and touched her mother's cheek. An image of Jacob saying hi in both of their heads.
"Thanks Ness. Tell him I said hi too." Bella replied holding her hand over the phone. "Oh and tell him his dad said to call him. Something about his sister being sick. He wouldn't tell me which one."
"Yes mom. Tell grandma I said hi and can't wait to meet her in person." Nessie replied.
"Will do sweetie." Bella uncover the phone and started talking to her mom again.
Renesme ran out the door to the quest house where Jacob and her were quarantining from the others.
During the pandemic all of the Cullens family were doing something to help out. Carlisle of course was working in the hospitals as a surgeon. Edward was working as a resident at the hospital as well. Bella was usually at home as she was teaching online English classes at a college in the south. Esme usually was home working on her blueprints. The rest took temporary jobs since vampires couldn't catch the virus. Only Jacob was for sure at risk and no one really knew if Renesme was able to contract it. Jacob usually stayed in the guest house of the houses they had lived in since leaving Forks. This was a temporary house in the south that they moved into because of the pandemic. The world had changed so much that they really didn't have to hide at all.

Hi so I'm not really sure where this is going right now. Probably slow updates. I kinda started writing this in 2011 but stopped because I couldn't think about why they would be where I had them back then. Covid19 kinda gave me an answer. I'm going to be looking back in my notes and seeing if I can rewrite this now that it's making a little more sense. Just had to get this down before I forgot it again
