after I got off the phone with Audrey I started packing. I took down all of my posters and started boxing my pictures and books. we already knew were we wanted to live. nyc. we had a big apartment picked out and we had all of our furniture planned. and we were going to get two cats because I said I wasn't being her roommate unless we had them. :) I wanted a black one named mokus.
we already had an apartment picked out, room 853. it was very nice.
it had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a balcony, black granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances.

it's been weeks since I started packing and I'm finally done. I have everything but my furniture.
not going to lie, i wasn't going to miss this place , i've been ready to move out for years.
I'm tired of this town. everyone here judges you by what you are wearing.
if you were a band tee to church you are automatically thought of as a sad, depressed teenager, if you don't play sports you are lazy and overweight
and im so tired of hearing that.
I've never met Audrey. I was so excited and I didn't know what to do.
I didn't realize I was pacing around until I heard a knock at the front door.
it was late at night and my mom was asleep so I was really quiet.
I opened the door to luke standing there running his hands through his hair talking to himself.
" uh hey luke,
why are you here so late? " I said holding the door open so he could come in.
" I'm going with you " he said coming inside.
" with me? "
" to new york " he sighed.
" you can't just leave here luke, I've planned this. "
" would you just stop." he said pinning me up against a wall and comming really close to my ear. " you can't leave me " goose bumps ran up my arms and my stomach started to turn.
" is there a problem z? " he asked pulling away from me.
" y-you know that gives me goose bumps " I stuttered.
" I didn't mean to turn you on or anything. " he smirked " I've got to go "
" luke " I said crossing my arms over my chest. " don't tease "
" I'm not making any promises. " he said leaving and quietly shutting the door behind him.

" do you know where she gets off at? " luke said looking around.
we were at the airport in nyc and I was really nervous.
i've been feeling sick all day.
" I have no idea "
" what's wrong? " he said pulling to to the side from all of the people.
" I'm really nervous " i said looking down at my hands.
" don't be nervous, i'm here " he said wrapping his arm around my shoulders.
we started walking until we seen a lot of people coming from the plane exit.
I could've swore my heart sunk to my
ass.
" is this her plane? "I asked luke who had my phone and was trying to find where she said she was.
" yes actually, it is " he smiled.
" luke, I'm gonna get sick. "
" calm down " he said lacing our fingers together as he began to rub circles on the back of my hand with his thumb.
I took a deep breath and began to walk forward.
it wasn't long in until I seen blue tips in someone's a hair so I began to run.
" audrey!? " I squealed.
" zoey! "
I pushed through a bunch of people, and then began to cry as I hugged my bestfriend.
" this is real " I cried.
" I know " she sniffled.
then we both pulled away so we could see each other.
" I've waited 5 years " i said wiping my tears. " 5 really long fucking years " I said as I hugged her again.
" this is the happiest day of my life " she said pulling out her phone and handing it to luke. " would you mind taking our picture? "
" sure " he smiled.
she turned back to me and hugged me and then, we got our very first picture together.
