Chapter 1: The Encounter

MAYDAY MAYDAY!!! This is Hawk 53. We are going down! I repeat we are going-. Axel and Edward were holding on to their dear lives. The rocket ship was shaking and out of control. The smell of fire was coming closer and closer to the men. Thoughts of death were appearing in front of their eyes. All they could think about was how they could escape into safety. Terrified as can be, Axel and Edward departed the rocket ship in the knick of time right before it crashed.

Hey Edward, are you okay!?Axel called out to his long time friend, and partner,

Im fine, Im fine. Edward reassured his friend.

Axel looked up at the stars above, the fire illuminating the terrain around the crash. The fire was bold and bright. As soon as Axel and Edward stood up and walked around, they were in utter shock with realizing where they were. They began to understand they were in an unknown environment.

Rolling into a safer position, counting their fingers and toes, slowly standing up, they realized they were alright.

Woah wait, where are we? Everything is so different here, "said Axel

A part from the fierce glazing, there was complete darkness. Stars appeared all around them! Even planets. In complete shock, Edward stared ahead and said, That cant be Earth?

Listen to me Edward, we can get through this as a team. I just need to figure out how we can repair the rocket ship and get some help.

Searching all around, Edward panicking on where he should even search for help. It was so difficult even to maneuver around the difficult rocky terrain. The communication device worked on and off as it was not picking up proper signal. Edward was getting frustrated.

Hello? Axel!? Can you hear me!?? What do I do?

Edward was getting scared, tired, and feeling confused on how to communicate with Axel.

He didnt know where to go. Feeling disappointed, he threw the communication device on the floor. It began making noises.

Edward started calling out, do you hear me Axel, do you hear me? I just want to get back to Earth, he cried.

All of a sudden, Edward hears someone approach near him.

Earth you say? Trembling and frightened, Edward said, Who said that?

Edward turned around and there was this creature that appeared behind him. It had white, curly hair that almost fully covered his round- tensed face. Piercing hazel eyes, set gracefully within their sockets, a beard that goes to its stomach, scars everywhere, and wearing a tribal headpiece. It had humanlike features but clearly wasnt from planet Earth.

Tell me who you were contacting?, asked the alien.

Edward didnt know if he should feel terrified in fear or if he should feel relieved that this creature could help him with his rocket ship.

Who are you? I was only trying to contact my friend. We are trying to fix our rocket ship as it has crash landed. Can you help us?

I am Chief Olaf, the leader of the Savages. You have landed on Planet Nexus. You will have to come with me and stay here. We cannot help you repair your rocket ship because you cannot return to Earth.

But why cant I return? I need to go back to my friend and return to Earth,

cried Edward.

Well I have some news for you. The planet you and your people have lived in, is no more. You and your friend are the last standing humans.
