"Prepare emergency room 7, she needs an emergency procedure! There's glass in her head, a concussion and 2 broken ribs. Possible internal bleeding"

I hear muffled voices yelling and feel my body being rushed somewhere. I try to open my eyes and close them in pain.

"She's conscious grab the anesthesia mask!"

I heard someone yell then felt a mask stuffed on my face, causing me to black out again.

Mirio's POV

Y/n wasn't responding to any texts or calls from me, Nejire, or Tamaki so I asked Nejire to go to her house and check on her, knowing that since she's female Inko would let her in rather than if it were me or Amajiki.

Me and Amajiki waited at his house for Nejire to fill us in, so when she texted "MEET US AT JAKU GENERAL HOSPITAL NOW!" we panicked and made it over there as soon as possible. We walked in to Nejire waiting outside Y/n's room with dried tears on her face. She looks at us and tells us Y/n is currently in procedure. We see Inko and Izuku sitting opposite to Nejire. Izuku was crying and seemed genuinely worried and guilty, but Inko looked scared, as if she was hiding something rather than care for her daughter's well being. Me and Tamaki greet her respectfully and she slightly glares at us then greets us back. She's surprisingly not comforting her sweet Izuku, which tells us something's definitely up. Izuku greets us and immediately apologizes saying

"I'm sorry, it was all my fault!"

Tamaki just look at him confused then ask Nejire to fill us in. She tells us that Inko said Y/n got home and tripped over the doorstep and fell into Izuku who was moving a flower vase, then hit her head on the doorframe and floor. The broken ribs probably came from hitting the floor as well. I look at Izuku who's looking down, then at Nejire. The three of us look at each other and I can tell we're thinking the same thing. It's a good story to cover Izuku saying it's his fault, the glass in her head and concussion but ribs don't break from falling like that. Not to mention Y/n isn't that clumsy to just crash into her little brother like that. Me and Tamaki finally sit next to Nejire, and a second later the doctor and nurse walk out. They say the glass was completely removed successfully and the wounds and concussion were treated. The also say they repaired her ribs but she'll need to stay overnight to make sure nothing goes wrong. The doc says we can all go back home but we tell Mama Midoriya and Midoriya to go home, as we'll stay overnight with her. Inko is obviously hesitant but she takes Izuku and leaves. As soon as we're sure they're gone and there's no staff around, we call bullshit to the story. We know that most likely Inko hit her head and ribs.

I can tell Amajiki and Nejire are as upset as I am that under no circumstance are we allowed to report Inko, for the sake of Y/n but we can't stay clueless either. A nurse walks towards us and we quickly compose ourselves. "She's u and even though it isn't recommended, you may now enter her room". We disregard the unrecommended part and all 3 of us rush inside.

Flashback Nejire's POV

I had an uneasy feeling in my stomach as I made my way to Y/n's house, knowing that if she's not responding something's definitely wrong. I ring the bell, and there is no answer for about a minute so I ring it again and this time Inko answers. She has a worried and surprised look on her face when she sees me but says "Perfect timing, please call an ambulance, then she steps aside and I see Izuku holding an unconscious Y/n and crying. She's slightly still bleeding but there's mostly dried blood on her head that has glass and her clothes, meaning the injury didn't just happen, and probably happened a few hours ago when she got home. I don't say anything, I just quickly take out my phone, dialing an ambulance.

"I-I'm going to call the police as well!" I tell her, starting to put their number in.

"No!" she yells reaching for my phone. I move out the way and she misses.
