kim taehyung was just a normal university student.

with a normal life.

with normal friends.

and a very normal crush on the barista that works at a coffee shop near their uni campus.

so normal that taehyung sometimes forgets his own name when he looks at the pretty barista.

so normal that he has been spending hours at that coffee shop every single day for four months.

now don't get him wrong. he's not a coward.

well.. okay. he is. but not a complete coward.

he started making small talk with the barista about a month later he became a regular here and now knows a few things about him like his name is Jeon Jungkook, that he is a freshman, a film and photography student, he's gay (a win for kim taehyung) and absolutely hates it when girls try to hit on him, loves dogs, hates cats, is very curious about what taehyung's drawings look like since he's an art student and is always drawing when he's at the cafe and that this is his brother's cafe which is why he works every single day at weirdly random hours.

pretty normal, right?

but what's not normal is the fact that kim taehyung's whipped ass is about to go to the cafe to have a daily dose of his crush's cute bunny like smile while it's snowing cats and dogs outside.

no seriously. there's a fcking snow storm coming.

but does kim taehyung give a fck about it?no. absolutely not.

so here he is, outside the cute little cafe, waddling like a penguin so he doesn't fall down face first and embarrass the shit out of himself.

he steps in, letting out a deep sigh of relief, shaking his head like a little puppy as he ruffled his own hair, trying to get rid of any snow in there but was interrupted by a giggle. a giggle he can recognise in his sleep. his favourite sound in the entire world.

he looked up, still ruffling his hair but stopping as soon as he realized how close jungkook was to him.

“here, let me help you” the younger boy said as he started ruffling taehyung's hair softly and brushing his shoulders, getting rid of the snow.

no. taehyung is not blushing. his cheeks are definitely not as red as a fcking apple.

“thank you” taehyung replied with one of his extremely charming smiles and the barista smiled back.

“hot chocolate?” the younger asked as he walked towards the counter.

“i thought you stopped serving hot chocolate?” taehyung asked, confused making the barista chuckle.

jungkook still remembers the time he told taehyung they had stopped serving hot chocolate at the cafe. he could clearly see the horror in the older's eyes. that was the day he found out the older doesn't like coffee. or anything bitter for that matter. that was the first time jungkook felt a spark of hope inside his chest that maybe.. just maybe his brother was right and his crush actually comes to the cafe every single day only to see jungkook. he had no idea how right he was.

“whattt????” the older whined in annoyance as he walked towards the counter too. “have i been drinking caramel macchiato for a whole month for no reason?” he glared at the younger with a cute pout on his face.

“no.. we really did stop serving it but i'll make one especially for you, hyung-” he stopped as soon as he realized what he said. “sorry.. taehyung-ssi. i'll make one for you today since there's no one else in the cafe”
