Why Me...? (A Sad Asanoya Angst Story)

We meet

(In this story I'm on the girl volleyball team and I'm the captain and ace spiker in karasuno and I'm a third year meaning I'm friends with the other third years.)

My POV
Me and my friend asahi are walking down the hall talking about stuff we have in similar classes when we hear a high pitched boys voice down the hall screaming at someone and a girl crying. We speed walk down the hall hoping to find what all the commotion was about and we see a small boy with a bloody nose standing infront of a girl on her knees behind him sobbing. We...well I run up and see another bigger guy holding his fists up but there bloody fists..."YOU CANT HIT GIRLS DIPSHIT!!!" the smaller one yells. "Make me bitch!" Yells back the other one. I take a good look at the girl cutting out the other twos yelling and see she has a bloody face and black eye. She has beautiful black hair and emerald green eyes like this.

I take another good look at the taller dude and see hes at least a good 5'8 maybe 5'9? I walk up infront of the smaller boy and his yelling stops. I'm at least 1 or 2 inches taller than the taller one so I'm kinda towering over him. "The fuck are you again?" I ask "N-No o-one" he stammers struggling to gulp down the lump in his throat. "BEAT IT" I yell back. He yelps and runs the smaller one then proceeds to turn around and get to the girls face level and check on her. I get on my knee and ask him what happened. "Well you see that dushbag was tryna touch her in...ways...so I tried to intervene but he punched her and landed a good punch on me to..." "I see" I respond "H-HEY! YOU A-ALRIGHT?!?" asahi yells behind me. "IM FINE WE JUST NEED TO GET KIYOMI TO THE NURSES OFFICE!" The smaller one yells back. "I'll take Kiyomi to the nurse asahi you make sure this one is ok to" "sure-" "I HAVE A NAME YAKNOW!!!" "And what is your name exactly?" I ask while picking kiyomi up. "Yū Nishinoya! I'm gonna be the libero for the boys volleyball team!" "Ok well have fun with that you can talk with my friend over there hes the ace and hes gonna make sure your ok". "I DONT NEED HELP!" "Yeah sure kid" I say while bringing the girl to the nurse.

I walk to the front of the gym because I ended practice a little early. I walk in on the boys practicing and everyone stops for a second turning there attention to me. "Sup. Why is everyone staring at me like I just killed?" I ask. Two of the boys look at me and run over to me. "OML IS IT A GODDESS???" the bald looking one asks "I THINK IT IS!" the smaller...hey it's the boy from earlier! "Hey aren't you the boy from earlier?" I ask "Why yes I am!" He says with a smug look on his face. "BRO SHE TALKED TO YOU!!!" "OMG SHE DID!!!" "Uhhh I'm lesbian?"

"HUH?!?" they both gasp in unison. "Yeah???" I say kinda confused. "BOYS LEAVE HER ALONE SHE CAME TO WHATCH US PRACTICE NOT BE SURROUNDED BY YOU TWO!" Daichi yelled from across the gym. A pretty girl I think her name is Kiyomi from earlier. "OMG ANOTHER GODDESS!!!" the bald looking one tells. He attempts to jump at her but I stand infront of her glaring at the bald one. She kinda hides herself behind me tucking herself in my jacket. I see shes a little less covered so I take it off and put it on her but she continues hiding behind me. "I-i dont really f-feel comfortable w-with boys s-so much any-anymore" she stutter/whispers so only I can really hear her. I continue death staring the baldy and ask him "Is it pleasurable to make girls uncomfortable?" I ask hugging/protecting the smaller girl. "What do you mean?!" He asks questioningly. "If you have to know she was attacked this morning by a perv and by the looks of it she doesn't even like boys!" "WOAH WOAH CALM DOWN- WAIT WHAT?!?!" "GET BACK TO PRACTICING!!!" daichi yelled again with his scary voice. "S-SORRY!" he stutters/apologizes. I turn around and I'm met with a familiar face. "Asahi hey!" Kiyomi get behind me agian kinda peeking her head out at asahi. "Dont worry he doesnt even like girls and he couldnt hurt anyone of his life depended on it" I chuckled at the cute face she was making. It was kinda like she was amazed by him. Sparkle in her eye and all. Oh gosh...I've fallen in love and it hasn't even been a day...what am I gonna do...😓

ASAHI POV
Me and my friend Harumi (not my irl name) are walking down the hall and shes talking about stuff we have for the same classes when we hear a squeaky voice down the hall nonetheless it sounded fearce. She turned the hall and ran towards the two boys yelling at eachother. I freeze up because I see that there both bloody while she tries to capture what's going on. Everything stops and lays my attention on the smaller boy. He has dark brown hair sticking up spiky almost and he has a blondish yellowish streak on his bangs which are the only thing coming down. He has beautiful grey eyes with a fearce look in them. Everything comes back to my attention once Harumi scares the guy off. "H-HEY YOU A-ALRIGHT?!?" I stammer trying to keep my cool "IM FINE WE JUST NEED TO GET KIYOMI TO THE NURSES OFFICE!" The smaller one responds. "I'll take Kiyomi to the nurse asahi you make sure this one is ok to" "Sure-" I try to respond but I'm cut off by the smaller one yelling at her. "I HAVE A NAME YAKNOW!!!" "And what is your name exactly?" She asks raising an eyebrow obviously irritated "Yū Nishinoya! I'm gonna be the libero for the boys volleyball team!". She whispers something that makes him have a wow look on his face and he goes back to me. I make sure hes ok and go to class. After class I decided to go to the gym to see if I could find Harumi. I found her at the gym with the same girl but this time she has Harumi's jacket on and she's cowering behind her. She turns around and looks at the girl "Dont worry he doesnt even like girls and he couldnt hurt anyone of his life depended on it". She fully comes out with sparkly like eyes that a guy didnt like to hurt girls. I felt glad she felt safe but I really needed to talk about something with Harumi. "H-hey Harumi...?" I ask with a slight stutter, what am I gonna do with myself. "Yeah?" "Can we talk in private...?" I kind of whisper the last part and I dont know why. "I'm gonna have to leave Kiyomi but why dont you go to the one with silver hair, over there!" She says pointing at sugawara. "Just tell him your name and you can stay near him". The girl slightly nods and makes her way around the gym, flinching at the ball hitting the ground. Me and Harumi make it outside and I...I practically spill my heart out telling her about the smaller one and she tells me about the girl. Turns out the girl likes girls two but she didnt really push any further. After practice I walk behind the building which is where the smaller one went because I was gonna ask if we could hang out a bit when I heard him talking. "OMG HES SO HOT!!!" He yell whispered to tanaka. "Woah man you like a boy? If so I get Kiyoko all to myself!" Everything cuts out and I cant hear anything I walk home tears threatening to escape my eyes. He wouldn't like you! Your weak! "S-stop please" the voices continued until I was able to cry myself to sleep. Next thing I know someone is yelling at me to wake up. Who...who is that...is that...? I open my eyes and I'm immediately wide eyed and awake. The moment I get a clear look I burst into tears...
