After Dark (Original Story) (NOT COMPLETED)

A late night snack

I was walking home I had just gotten off from work. It was kinda windy so I tried to make the walk home quick. The cool air hit my skin making me shiver slightly can't believe I forgot my coat I think to myself. A few minutes later I get home. I quickly go inside I lock the door behind me and head to my room to get ready for bed.

I wake up and I head down stairs I look at the clock it's only 4 am God I'm starving I quickly grab my coat and shoes and I head out. I walk around for a while until I spot someone I sneak up behind them and I push myself into their mind and I make them face me and turn their head to the side so that their bare neck is exposed. My fangs slip out and I bite into their flesh and blood rushes into my mouth I swallow two mouth fulls and I pull away and walk away and I release them from my control.

I walk back home and I go inside and head back to sleep. I end up having a nightmare about my parents it's the same thing every night it's driving me crazy. I wake up all sweaty and tears run down my face, I sit up and I grab my phone and I check my phone I have a bunch of missed call from Val I quickly call him back.

Sebastian? Oh thank god you called me back I was worried where are you it's already 3 pm?

Are you kidding me I'm so sorry I had a rough night at work and I'm so tired can we just hang out here?

Yeah ok I'll be right there

he hangs up and I get up and get dressed. I hear a knock at the door and I open it Val stands there awkwardly come on in I say he walks inside and he sits on the couch.

Sorry that we aren't doing anything today I've been having the same nightmares every night it's driving me crazy.

It's ok don't be sorry I like being here anyways he moves his black hair out of his face let's watch a movie I sit down and I hand him the remote here you pick something. he picks out a vampire movie she leans against me and I get a little nervous, I've had a crush on him ever since we graduated high school together.

She looks at me Is the movie bothering you? N-no Then what is it? I-its nothing really he sits up and pauses the movie. Come on Sebastian you can tell me I'm your best friend we've known each other since we were 8, yeah that's the problem I say under my breath. he leans closer and my face gets a little hot I stand up damn it sure is hot in here, I quickly leave the room and I head outside for some air.

Val finds me outside Sebastian what's wrong why'd you leave? I can't take it anymore I turn to her ok want to know what's up? I like you ok and I'm scared that you are going to hate me or something. Oh you dummy I like you too and I could never hate you he leans in and kisses me gently and my heart explodes.
