My Brothers Best Friend (Jack Johnson Fanfiction)

Chapter 3

Mellisa's POV

I finished Packing the rest of my stuff into my suitcase and headed downstairs.

"Finally Mell, we need to go like now" my brother said to me.

"yeah come on the cab's outside waiting on us" Jack (J) said to me.

"okay, okay, come on then let's go" i said walking out the front door followed by my brother and Jack.

we go into the Cab Jack and me in the back and my brother in the front. The ride to the airport wasn't that long only like 30 minutes or something. When we got to the airport it was a bit busy and i had to hold onto the back of Jack's (J) backpack so i didn't lose them. we checked in our cases and headed to departures.

when we got onto the plane we managed to get 3 seats all together, They made me sit at the window, and i don't really like Taking off and landing so the window wasn't a great seat to me. 
The plane started to taxi down the runway and my nerves began to rise. my hand clung to the armrest and i looked straight forward.  I glanced over to my brother and he was already out cold. 

"hey Mell, are you okay?" Jack asked looking at me concerned.

"uh... i just don't really like flying, it makes me really nervous" i said to Jack not looking away from the seat in front of me. I felt him take my hand gently. He rubbed small circles in the back of my hand comfortingly. 

"thank you Jack" I said looking over at him. He smiled at me. I slowly started to feel better as the plane rose higher and higher in the sky. I slowly started to fall asleep.

~~~Jack's POV~~~

She held my hand so tight, I could tell she was terrified, Then as she relaxed more her grip loosened and she slowly began to fall asleep. I let go of her hand and went into my bag, I took out the blanket I always carry with me flying, and gently put it over her. She curled up into a ball and snuggled into the blanket.

I looked over to her and she looked so peacful when she slept, so beautiful. Wait I can't think that she's Jack's sister. I can't like her... Can I? ...

I put my headphones on, lay back in my seat and closed my eyes. I was nearly asleep when i felt something on my shouled I looked over and saw Mell sleeping peacefully leaning on my shoulder.

~~~2 hours later~~~

All of us were awake now and either listening to music, playing on our phones or reading.

"hey I don't mean to bother you's but i really need to pee" Mell said looking to me and Jack. We got the hint and stood up so she could get out.

"um, could one of you come with me cause i don't want to go alone?" she asked us.

"uh yeah i'll come i Need to pee anyway" i said standing up.

we walked down the plane to the bathroom area and we waited for the next person to come out.
