Heads Up! This story is being edited as I am writing.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8... thought Jaqueline.

"Simply come with us Jaquin, and you will be safe," said a man with dark hair and red highlights. He had many of his darkness warriors surrounding her. "I don't think that's a good idea, especially for you," replied Jaquin with a smirk.

He gave a short, bewildered expression and shouted, "Quickly! Before she attacks, get her!" All of the  warriors lunged for Jaquin, but she quickly pulled out her wings and with one hard beat, she launched about 10 feet above the ground.

Her wings were white with a blue glow, almost like a hologram. She gave one flick of her wings and dozens of her blade like feathers shot out. They cut the warriors' armor and dug into their skin. Once contact is made with the feather, the poison erupted into their skin and caused their bodies to crumple into ash.

Jaquin landed back on the ground with a light thump, her blue eyes fixed on Ark with a hard, cold stare, causing him to step back.

"You have three seconds to choose to live or die," said Jaquin, her hand rearing back to grab a feather. Ark looks at the blade-like feather and then to Jaquin.

"You will see me again." said Ark as he flees through a portal streaming with bright colors of green, purple, and blue. He was gone.

Letting out a sigh, Jaquin summons her own multi-vortex and returns home. She arrives in front of a tall building, which is a mech-titian in disguise. Only the tip of the forehead sticks out of the ground, the rest in under the city of Velcitron.

The most high-tech city on planet Velcitron. She sees her twin brother, Sam, a tall slender boy with blue hair like Jaquin's sitting behind the bar counter playing games. There were many people were hanging out, ordering drinks and watching games on the TV as Jaquin approaches the front bar.

"Nice to see you working at the bar as usual, Sam," Jaquin said sarcastically. "Glad too," he said in response.

"I would be much happier if you actually helped with something Samuel," said Jaquin and Sam's father, Alcan, annoyed. He had orange-brown hair with streaks of gray indicating old age.

A very wise man he is, always leading Jaquin and Sam down the right path, but it can be hard if they act like they weren't born with ears.

"I am doing something," said Samuel protesting, gesturing to his video game, Cyborg Battle 2. "Plus, I'm staying out of your way."

"Why don't you become a warrior like your sister?" asked Alcan smirking, hoping to make Sam realize what he is doing and walked off to serve a customer.

Sam stiffened for a moment and returned to his game. "I don't have any deadly wings like Jaquin or any superpower skills," he replied with a flat voice.

"Well, that doesn't mean you still can't be one, it's in your blood," replied Jaquin with a confidence. Samuel once again stopped playing for a moment but resumed without saying anything.

Their father married a woman who did not have any powers, but only pride and confidence for a brighter and safer future. She became a warrior and listened to nobody who despised of her. Their mother soon died in battle protecting Jaquin and Sam from other warriors who have been taken by darkness.

Jaquin was the only one of the two that inherited the powers from Alcan, but her deadly wings were not from either of her parents. No doctor or scientist could figure out why she has them, so Jaquin had to hide her wings unless in battle.

Alcan does not have his powers anymore since he has retired as a warrior. Whenever someone resigns from their place because of old age, they would lose their powers and it would be passed down for the next generation. People with no powers can also become Warriors because everybody should get a chance to do so.

There used to be other Warriors like Alcan, but they seemed to have disappeared as years went by and the darkness continues to consume the universes.

"Anyways," said Jaquin filling in the awkward silence between the two. "Ready to hit the racetrack? I want to get there early and practice some more before the weekend race." Samuel sighed, set his game down on the counter and asked, "actually, can we go somewhere else?"

"Why? The track is a great place," replied Jaquin becoming discouraged. "There's another place I want to go this time instead of driving in a bunch of circles," he said. Jaquin's expression went from happy to a complete rage and anger.

Sam suddenly became frightened. Uh oh, I said that wrong?! He thought, I'm so dead." Jaquin threw her arm and one of her blades flew right passed Sam's ear and hit the wall. Sam quickly lunged behind a nearby chair before she throws another one.

"WOAH!! Hey! I mean I know another racetrack that is really popular, but I can't show it to you if you kill me!" He said in response, still behind the chair. Jaquin's face softened a bit and let out a low growl, "lucky I missed huh?" She said as she walked briskly out towards the door.

She's still offended about what I said?! He thought and raced after his sister. They took at turn around the building and entered the parking lot.

There, there was two cars under a dark tarp. Jaquin threw it off and there was a white hyperlink with gold rims and a blue sportscar with sliver stripes. They have both built these cars by themselves, but Jaquin's was more detailed since she had her powers as an advantage.

While Samuel was only able to design and build a simple sportscar. They started their engines made their way to the SuperSpeed Stadium.

Once they arrived, there were lots of people with their cars to race in the stadium. Jaquin felt a bit uneasy since she finds it hard to trust anybody. "Wow... It's bigger than I thought," said Sam in awe.

Jaquin looked up, it looked like any stadium, but with many towers to stabilize the track as it swerves through the building.

"Excuse me," said a voice. She turned around and there was a boy with light green hair. He seemed about the same age as her and Sam. "I just wanted to tell you how cool your car looks. Where did you get?" He asked.

Jaquin raised and eyebrow at him as he continues to admire her car. The boy looked up at her and said, "Oh sorry, my name's Aztec. Nice to meet you."
