"Stop squealing!"
Dahyun felt a plush toy thrown to her feet which caused the heavy romantic novel book she was reading, fell on her face.
Her smiling and squealing mood earlier changed into a frown when the hard edge of the book hit her forehead and the corpulence had just knocked over her face.
"Unnie!" She grunted, taking away the book as she sat up on her bed, glaring at the person at fault who was suppressing her laugh. "It hurts!"
"Your squeals hurt a lot more! I'm trying to review here." Jeongyeon retorted, playing the pen on her hand.
"You're not reviewing, you're just pretending." She replied, rolling her eyes. She closed the book and took off her thick spectacles.
"Shut up, and when I say shut up, close your ridiculous imagination and sleep. You have scheduled exams tomorrow, Kim Dahyun."
Dahyun scoffed, but then her eyes shone upon remembering something. "Ah, unnie! I have a bet."
"No." The older replied coldly, getting back to reviewing, or more like just highlighting, and showed no interest in whatever her friend was up to.
The younger whined, slipping out of her blanket, and walked to the other side of the room where the older's side was. "This is for me."
Jeongyeon looked at her in disbelief, pointing the end of the pen to herself. "Then how about me?"
Dahyun reluctantly raised her hand, "Uh, you'll be included, of course. It's a deal, hello?"
Jeongyeon put down her pen, crossed her arms, and nodded at her. "Shoot."
"I have nine courses. If I scored perfect in five of my exams out of nine, treat me to the cinema, and let's watch the new romantic comedy movie, your treat."
Jeongyeon snickered and rolled her eyes, "Of course, it has something to do about that. How about if you lose?"
Dahyun arrogantly waved her hand and laughed evilly, "You don't have to think about that because I'll surely win."
"If not you'll stop reading and watching romantic movies that result in your growing delusions. Clear?"
"Why!? That puts a lot of pressure on me!" Dahyun complained, pouting and whining at the deal.
"That's also for you. Your standard is getting higher because you want to find your own Christian Grey so you could remake your own Fifty-"
"Unnie, no! Oh my gosh! I never watched nor read that kind of story!" Dahyun immediately cut off, knowing what she was going to say.
Jeongyeon cackled at the now hiding younger lady under her blanket, whining as she was reprimanding her for thinking that she could read that book, which she already knew because Dahyun was just so pure- no, she just couldn't take reading those, she preferred sappy, vomit-worthy in too much cheesiness books.
"Okay, fine. You got a deal."

Jeongyeon knew Dahyun's elevating determination when achieving something, and she witnessed it again when the moment that she woke up and saw Dahyun holding two books at a time, murmuring to herself of whatever there was in the book, she knew just then that she lost in their bet. Especially that they were talking about a romantic movie, and her hobby of reading was at risk because of her deal, she would of course do her best on it.
"Got to go, unnie! Do well in your exam!" She yelled, waving her hand as she exited their dorm with her bag dangling on her back, three books on her arm, and her thick specs falling on the tip of her pointed nose.
