Chapter 4: Welcome home

"Dude just shut the fuck up!"

"Okay first of all I am the one who took her in so I wouldn't be talking!"

"Why did you take her!?"

"Oh do you want me to just leave her there and let get fucking bleed to death!"

I still had my eyes closed pretending to be asleep, I think Ryan and Austin where talking about me, Ryan and Austin have like a history, when Ryan was dating a girl (forgot her name) Austin was having sex with or something and Ryan caught them

"Just get the fuck out of here!"

Then I heard the door slam

I slowly began to open my eyes, there was Ryan standing up, he looked pissed off, he looked at me and smiled

"Hey" Ryan said walking over to me

"Hey" I said smiling back

"I know you heard everything that we just said" he said

Shit..

"Look I just.. I just want to protect you, you know?"

"Yeah" I said nodding

"Are you hungry?" Ryan said

"Starving" I said laughing

"What do you want, they hav-

"Starbucks would be nice" I said cutting him off

"What do you want?" He said laughing

A coffee cake, with a vanilla bean frapuccino

He smiled and left the room

When he left I grabbed my phone and checked my messages, I had 7, and there all from Chloe

~hey how are you feeling~
~faith?~
~well I got a boyfriend!~
~hey so I am trying to come to see you this afternoon~
~hey sorry I didn't come, I was busy~
~coming to see you tomorrow~
~hey on my way!~

When is she coming!?

The door opened and I snapped my head up and saw Chloe smiling with 2 presents

I smiled

"Oh are those for me?" I said laughing

She smiled and walked over to me and put the presents on the table

"Open them!" Chloe said smiling

She handed me one of the presents

"Thanks" I said, I opened the present and saw a Gooch purse!

I smiled

"Holy crap Chloe! This must cost a fortune!"

"Eh" she said laughing

"I can't take this!" I said

"No please, please take it faith"

"Thank you"

I gave Chloe a huge hug

"Next" Chloe said, she handed me the next present, she handed me me the present and I opened it, and pulled out

3 new iPhone cases and a soft cheetah print blanket

"I love it!" I said smiling

She smiled and gave me a hug, "so who's the boyfriend" I asked smiling

"Jacob" she said sound embarrassed

"Jacob fern?!" I said surprised

She nodded

"Holy crap Chloe! Isn't he a player though?" I asked

She waited a moment to answer
"Kinda.. I guess"

"Don't get to attached" I said

I don't want Chloe to get attached to Jacob because then he is hair going to dumb her for another girl and continue the cycle

"Yeah, but.. I think I already am" she said as she looked at her hands

She looked at me and I nodded

"So when are you getting released from this dying place" Chloe said

"Dying place?" I said laughing

"Depressing place, better"

I laughed, " I think this afternoon!"

She smiled, "how's your mom" she asked

"I don't know, they said still hasn't woken up, and they are using a machine to help her breathe, so I am guessing pretty bad" I said

Is my mom going to die? What if she does then I would have to stay with my da- jack

"Well I have to tell you somet-"

Chloe got cut of by the door opening

Both of our heads snapped up to see who opened the door

"Hey" Ryan said entering with a coffee cake and a vanilla bean frapuccino

"For me" Chloe said smiling as she stood up

"I claimed it first" I said laughing

Ryan walked over to me and handed me the coffee cake and the frapuccino

"Thank you" I said

He nodded and walked over to a chair to sit down

I took a bite out of my coffee cake and may I just say it was delicious

Chloe grabbed my frapuccino from my hand and took a sip out of it

"Hey!" I said smiling

"Sharing is caring" Chloe said while nodding her head

I snatched the frapuccino back and took a sip of it

1 hour later

"You must take these everyday before you go to sleep" the nurse said handing me a bottle

I took the bottle and nodded

"Your dad is coming to pick you up" the nurse said

For the last fucking time he isn't my dad!!

I nodded once again

Chloe left about 35 minutes ago, and Ryan is still here

Ryan helped me out of the bed and into a wheel chair

He rolled me out and then jack pulled up

"Great" I said sarcastically

Ryan laughed and helped me into the car

I shut the door and rolled down the window, "thanks for everything" I said

He bent down so I could see his whole face and leaned in the window and gave me a peck on the cheek

That's a new one! But I have to say his soft lips on my cheek where amazing!

I smiled and rolled the window back up

Jack and I didn't talk the whole way to his house

He helped me out and put me in the wheelchair and brought me inside

He took me to my room and left, I grabbed my phone and text Ryan

That's not like Ryan, kissing me. I mean where Just friends, oh well I'm sure it was nothing.
