First person POV

September 22nd

I got my quirk at the age of five it was an ordinary Saturday, or so I thought.

My mom, dad, and I jumped into the car and headed down to my grandmas house so they could do some shopping while someone watched me.

Grandma's house was only 45 minutes away, so to keep myself busy I tried to spot things such as cars and shops, but we were going so fast I could hardly lock my eyes on a building.

My parents were probably going to the grocery store or to get more clothes, because I had grown out of most of my clothes.

As soon as I got to grandmas house, I gave her a big hug, and got a board game from my grandmas basement called "Headache".

We went onto the soft couch in the living room which wasn't to far from the kitchen.

My grandma and I'm probably played it for an hour when all of a sudden this purple pink fog swarmed around us.

I felt someone give me a hard shove knocking me to the hard floor near the kitchen.
Soon everything went black.

I woke up in a clean white room surrounded by all kinds of machines and one with some lines going up and down.

I was laying on a soft, white, cold bed that was just a foot or two from the ground.

On the right side of me I heard some quiet whispers just outside my door, but they were just to quiet to understand.

I realized there was something in my nose and something translucent covering my mouth.

Why was I here?

Then it hit me right there, I remember I was at my grandma's house playing games and this

purple fog appeared!

Soon the gray handle on the door turned and there was a click sound as soon as it open.
Once the door opened, a tall tan man dressed in a white coat with a gray shirt beneath the coat.

He also had black hair and had a stethoscope around his neck.

He was carrying a clipboard and had some cyan gloves.

"Oh, your awake!" The doctor said

"How long have I been out?" I asked

"3-4 days"

I stared at him with a surprised look. Was I really out that long!?

"It seems your quirk might've activated while you were at your grandma's."

"This doesn't happen to many people, but I guess you were just unlucky," The doctor continued.

"Is my grandma okay!?" I asked worried

The doctor went silent, he looked unsure on what to say.

"I'm sorry kid, but she didn't survive, if she had known the gas was coming from you then she probably could've escaped ,but because the gas didn't do anything to you sense it's your quirk."

"My quirk is gas?"

"No, it's toxic gas."

"I didn't know that was a quirk."

How could I have such a villainous quirk?

How was I suppose to be a hero if all I could do was poison people?

"It is, and your not the only one with it, I wouldn't use your quirk though considering it can hurt people."

"Ok."

"I'm going to call your parents to tell them your awake."

I stayed silent as I watched him head out of the room, he didn't close the door, so I could hear him talking.

To be honest I scared what my parents would say.

I waited for the doctor to come back, not bothering to listen in.

I'm sure my parents will be furious!

Especially sense I killed my grandma, tears started to swell up in my eyes.

I put my hands on my face trying to dry the tears that were streaming down my face quicker and quicker by the minute

I tried to keep my crying quite, as I tried rubbing my tears away but grief wouldn't go away.

Would they send me to an orphanage or send me to place for me to get my quirk erased?

Worry started to crawl up me like a spider climbing up a wall, all I could think about was how my parents would react..
