DREAM OR REALITY - Aaron Hotchner

You're home cleaning when you get a call from the one the only Aaron Hotchner.

(Lavenders pov)

Yeah I will be right there.

I hung the phone up and got ready to go to Aarons.

I drove to Aarons and walked up to his apartment building door. I buzz the apartment' number.

"Hello"? "Hey, it's lavender". "Oh come in", I hear a buzz and the door unlocks. I walk in and speed walk to his door. I knock waiting for him to open up. The door opens and its jack.

JACK hey how are you doing bub, I say when i pick him up. He laughs "hey Lav you here to play with me while dads at work"? Sure am bub I say.

(Aarons pov)

I got a call from Penelope saying that we had a case so I had to call a babysitter and there is only one I trust and know what my occupation is and how my schedule is and isn't mad about staying a long time and that's Lavender. I called her to ask if she could come and watch Jack. Of course she said yeah. I have no clue what I would do if she wasnt there to help. I hear a buzz from the monitor by my door i press it and say " hello" "hey its lavender" i told her to come in i unlock the door for her and get ready for work. I hear a knock on the door so I tell Jack to get it.

(No ones pov)

Lavender walks into Aaron's place still holding jack. He tells everyone by and gives Jack a hug and just smiles at lavender saying thank you for coming here on a short notice. Aaron leaves lavender and jack by themself.

(Lavenders pov)

"hey jack are you hungry or did you eat"

Yeah I'm hungry, Jack said.

I asked him what he wanted to eat and of course like any NORMAL child he said macaroni and cheese. So while that was cooking I decided to ask jack if he wanted to play or something while the food was cooking and he wanted to play with his dinosaurs.

"So jack has anything new been going on does your dad happen to talk about anyone with you"

You will not believe what he said. Yeah actually he does talk about this one girl, you might know her" who is it i asked he giggles and said its you silly. "dad always talks about you. He says that you're pretty and that he really likes you" i blush a little and smile oh really, i ask? " I really like you too Lav, you actually play with me" I smile and get up to get the food. " I really like you too Jack and I love playing with you and your dinosaurs. I walk to the kitchen and grab some bowls and call for Jack to come eat, we sit down and just talk and laugh while eating. Okay jack it's time to get into your pajamas, and get ready for bed i told him. While cleaning the dishes I hear jac running down the steps. I look over and he has a book in his hands. He asks if I can read him a book. I read him Where the wild things are. I quietly get up while Jack is asleep and go downstairs to watch some tv. I happen to fall asleep while watching Julie and the Phantoms.

(Aarons pov)

I get home after finally catching the unsub. I walk in and hear the tv on, must be lav i thought.

I walk into the living room to find lav asleep on the couch. I smile while looking at her. She's adorable while sleeping. I lightly nudge her awake.

"Lav wake up" I whisper. "Hmm" she looks up, oh hey Aaron your back early she said. I laugh a little yeah we got him, i sit down next to her and we end up talking for a little. I head off to bed after checking on Jack to make sure he is asleep and okay.

(Lav pov)

I woke up to Jack jumping on me. "Hey bub your up early"

"Yeah well dads still asleep so i came in here to talk to you"

"Okay well are you hungry, you want some food i ask."

He shook his head no, but he suggested that we make his dad breakfast in bed.

That's a good idea, I say. Me and Jack make Aaron some pancakes and give him some orange juice. I grab the tray of food and follow Jack into his fathers room. I knock on the door, "Aaron me and jack are coming in." I open the door to find Aaron sitting up. We brought you food, Jack says. He looks at me then to jack. He smiles "thanks guys"

I take the food to him and put it in the bed by him. I move so Jack can get on the bed with his father. Hey Jack, can i talk to your dad for a second. Jack left so I can talk to Aaron. I turned to him while he was eating and he started to look scared. " you will not believe what Jack told me" what he asked while looking up at me. "He told me you really like me," I said while laughing. His face went pale," listen i know your jacks babysitter and we are just friends i was going to tell you i guess jack beat me to it i understand if your not comfortable while being here now". I laugh, Aaron calm down, i like you too. "really " he asked, yeah I said. He got up and hugged me. Jack came running in dressed in his clothes smiling and ran up and joined the hug, you were happy you all were.

Then you woke up. "It was all just a dream" you sigh

Or so you thought.
