Hey everyone! so excited to share my new story with y'all! Before we start just want to go over a few thing
1. If your reading my other story Passing Through, just know that I am still working on it, just lost some inspiration and just need a little time to figure what i'm doing with it.
2. This story takes place in 1973, everyone including our beloved Flip does not understand things that are not considered in the norm in 1973. (please keep this in mind when you read it.)
3. With that TW:
-Stalkers and creepy stalker things
-Drug Use
-Heavy sexual content or mention of sexual situations
-Talks of eating disorders and methods
That's all I can think of right now but if any other things come up, i'll make sure to put TW in the beginning.Characters from the movie Blackkklansman do not belong to me, but Original Characters do.
Hope you Enjoy!

"Creek, Zimmerman, Stallworth get your asses in my office now!"
Everyone looks at each other before slowly getting up from there desks. They all knew why they were getting called into the chief's office; for a year and four months they have been secretly continuing to watch Walter and his "Organization." Even though Walter stepped down as the leader of the "Organization", the group continued to thrive and plan things to follow their hateful agenda. Flip didn't care at first, to him it was just a job, another case to get through, but something changed when they were told to shut it down, he got angry. Every time they would go out for drinks the conversations always end up at the disappointment of why they could not keep watching what felt like a dangerous group. Flip never wanted to tell people how angry he actually was, what once was a job to get done become a crusade for not only his friends but now people who shared his religion.
As everyone sat down in their chairs quietly as the chief looked upon them on the other end of the desk just staring intently. Silence for what felt like forever went on until the chief finally opened his mouth.
"So, which one of you assholes is gonna tell me what the hell you were doing using department equipment for a stakeout that wasn't assigned?" He looks at each detective one by one. No one was willing or able to give him eye contact, the fear of their jobs was on the line, they knew that when they all decided to keep going even without the permission of the CSPD. "If someone doesn't talk then you all can just give me your badges and guns."
Flip hated that idea more, even though it came with some flaws, he really did love his job. "We just wanted to keep an eye on them sir, they are still a dangerous group of individuals." Flip made a bold decision by looking the chief in the eyes, a decision he seconds later felt like he regretted.
"Of all these guys, I'm disappointed in you the most, Flip, you knew better, I could always trust you to follow the rules and orders even if you didn't like them." Flip never really talked to his family to much, so to hear that from the person that felt most like a father figure to him hurt. "Jimmy, I know you have the less hand in this, I'm putting you on desk duty for 2 weeks." Jimmy just kept averting his eyes and nodded and said yes sir. "As for you Ron, I have no choice but to put you back in files until I see fit."
Ron quickly looked up and tried to protest "But Sir..." It was quickly stopped by one look at the chief. "I worked so hard sir to get from there to where I am now."
"I know, this is all just temporary." Then the chief looks at Flip and places his hands on the desk. Flip gives him a look of amusement and annoyance.
"What you gonna make me do, bathroom duties till I learn my lesson?" The chief not amused but somehow remaining calm, which worried Flip more on what he could have in store for him.
