After eight years,
"Was it your dream to become a doctor?"
Originally it wasn't. It was someone else's dream. It was Laurent's. And now I got it, for us.
But it was a dream that became mine, too, even before he was gone.
"Yes, it was."
"For what are you doing this?"
"For others, for myself, and someone..."
"That someone must have been close to you, huh?"
We were more than close. We were more than that.
Though life ended shortly, he was my sun, he is, and he will always be. The one who'll keep me sane. The memory that will save me through everything. No more goodbyes. I'll keep living for you.
See you, Laurent.
