YOON JEONGHAN
The silence was drowning me. No music was heard, only the sound of the gravel that we drove upon, the engine of my Dodge Charger, and the squealing of her hidden excitement. We pulled up to a red light, my eyes fixated on her. She was looking all around the car, over the hood and through my mirrors. She was so fixated on the car, she forgot to start driving during the green light. I couldn't help but cover my face from embarrassment. "I never took you to be into cars. Is mechanical engineering your major?"

I can hear her scoff beside me. "What's makes you think that? Just because I like cars doesn't necessarily mean that my career path is going to be about them." I could hear her annoyance in her voice... it only made me want to provoke her even more.

I chuckle, watching her move uncomfortably in her spot. "What's your major then?"

"Why do you care?"

Ouch. She just shut me down right there with no hesitation. She definitely strikes my interest. I chuckle again, watching her finger shake against the steering wheel. "I don't care, I'm just trying to start a conversation with you. After all it seems you don't hate me anymore because of my car—"

"I like your car, not you. My hatred for you is beyond you imagination. I find you revolting, I hate your face, your voice, and your presence makes me want to barf in my own mouth. Do you get the gist of it all?" She's straight forward, she doesn't sugarcoat things. I can tell right from the beginning that she was real. She wouldn't lie to you, even if it's of the simplest things. I enjoyed provoking her for that reason. She was definitely an interesting one.

"Brutally honest. Kind of hurts." I place my hand over my chest pouting my lips as if I was in pain. I looked at her as she rolled her eyes. She leaned back into the seat and drove with her left hand on the wheel and her right arm resting on the arm rest. She looked relaxed. "If you hate me, why're you being so kind to me? Are you perhaps using hatred as a mask for your hidden love for me—"

"Being civil doesn't mean that I harbor feelings." She parked the car near to the closest spot she could find. She turned to me eyeing her up and down. She then smirked, her change in face causing me to shake slightly. She unbuckled her seat belt, grabbing the collar of my shirt and dragging me closer to her. Our lips almost grazing each other. Despite all this, her eyes remained glued to mine. Not even nothing about the distance between our lips. "Who knows maybe you're the one that harbors feelings for me..."

I stare at her lips as her tongue ran over them, moisturizing them. "But it doesn't matter to me whether you do or not. Because I want nothing to do with you. So don't get ahead of yourself with your delusional thoughts. I'll tell you this once, I, Y/N Lee, will never in the slightest bit have any romantic feelings for you." She pushes my shoulder back, leaning away from me. I only sat there in puzzlement. Rethinking of the entire situation. I sat there, not even noticing her leaving the car and entering the building of the cafe.

My heart clenched at her words. Repeated and repeating her voice. 'I, Y/N Lee, will never in the slightest but have any romantic feelings for you.' I couldn't help but feel my anger grow. I slam my hands against the car, sitting there in my own silence, ignoring the growing pain in my palm. "Jesus fuck. Why the hell am I so angry?"

I turn exit the passenger side and I stared up at the quiet girl who was flipping though pages. I could see her sitting near the window, later another frame came into view. Two of them to be exact. I recognized one of them. The Chinese international student. He is majoring in fashion. I believe his name is Xu Minghao. The last man that sat beside her made my blood boil. My tall giant friend, Mingyu. I could see a pink tint fall across his face as Y/N stared up at him.

Then my feet moved on there own. Walking towards the class door, pushing it open facing directly towards the group of three. Y/N didn't seem to notice me approaching, because she still had a smile on her face as she continued to converse with Mingyu. I walk beside her, quickly snaking my arm around her waist, openly giving her a kiss on her cheek. Y/N gasped and quickly backed away from me. "What the hell!"

"Jeonghan, what do you think you're doing?" Mingyu glared, standing up abruptly from his chair. Despite our height difference, I wasn't going to back down. Not after them already seeing me kiss Y/Ns cheek.

"What? Do you got a problem with me kissing my fiancé's cheek?" I spat, pushing my chest out slight to make me seem a little more intimidating. "And why're you being so informal, huh? Aren't you suppose to respect your seniors?"

"Fiancé?" Mingyu gasps and turns to look at Y/N. I follow his eyes, noticing the furious pairs glaring into me. This was the angriest ive ever seen her, but at the same time, why do I think that it's possible for her to be even more angry? I didn't want to test her though, I can tell she was having enough.

"You. We need to talk. Right now." She quickly grasped onto my wrist, dragging me out of the building and into the car we both just left. I can feel her grasp tighten and loosen as she pushed me inside. She took the keys that were dangling from my fingers and got into the drivers side, quickly driving to some open free spot. She sat there for a minute trying to collect herself. "...what is your problem, Jeonghan?"

"You. You're my problem."
