Continuing from the last chapter...
NICO
We went down a winding road through the forest and within 30 minutes we were there. As we climbed out, I stared up at it in amazement. It was all white, with peaked rooftops and many windows, but it looked modern. It had several different sections attached to the main part. It had a huge green lawn at the front, leading directly to the rocks on the edge of Long Island Sound, with a small beach leading to the ocean. (Picture in media) in short, it was amazing. Normally I would like a little more black, but this fit all of our likings exactly.
Then we went in.
We walked into a wide open entry room. There was a staircase in the middle leading upwards. To the left of where we came in was a modern living room with a white stone fireplace and a fuzzy rug. To the right was a tv room, with blue walls and a dark, plushy couch facing a flat screen tv. On one side of the stairwell was a hallway leading to the kitchen, which was antique, with a lot of silver and wood finishes. The backyard had a pool and a little barbecue area.
Then, we went to the second floor. There were 6 doors. Each one led to a clean, simple white bedroom with a huge, tall bed fitted with fluffy white pillows and comforters, a sleek white desk, and a half wall of bookshelves. One door in each bedroom led to the simple bathroom and one led to a walk in closet.
Then we went to the third floor. There were 2 more doors with the same style bedroom, and then a hallway leading to the attic space. In the attic was a TV and 2 beanbags, as well as a little window seat fit with pillows. (AN-before you say that this whole house is unrealistic, I just used exactly how my friend's house looks like, besides the bedrooms, so it's not really that unrealistic.)
It was perfect. I was glad the Gods didn't design our bedrooms, because Hades did not know my taste.
When we were done with the tour, everybody scrambled to choose bedrooms. In the end, Will and I got the 3rd floor bedrooms and Calypso, Leo, Annabeth, Percy, Jason and Piper got the 2nd floor bedrooms. Everyone wanted to be on the second floor since there was a lot of stairs, but Will and I chose the attic since we had the whole place to ourselves, and the rooms were a little bit bigger.*+*~*+*
So that was a little intro to the new house! And I know it's super overused for the 7 to move into a house all together, but I just thought it would be necessary for the rest of the story's plot line.
And in most stories, they move into this multi-billion dollar mansion with 7 floors and an indoor jacuzzi and basketball courts and movie theatre and strip club and helipad so I did keep it pretty realistic.
Also, will and Nico have the whole attic to themselves......... Huehuehuehuehue
It smells like curry and I want curry so bad will someone plz send curry to me
