(Anna's POV)
"Hey mom, I'm home from school." I said as I closed the front door.
"Hey sweety, how was it?" Mom said while not looking up from her computer.
"Boring." I flopped down on the couch and turned on the tv and said, "Hey mom.."
"Yes?"
"Can you sign me up for guitar lessons?"
My mom looked up from her computer with a shocked expression on her face. "Umm sure.. but are you sure you want to play guitar?"
"Yes mom, I'm sure."
Mom sighed and went to a website for guitar lessons.
"Ok, you've been signed up for guitar lessons. You start tomorrow." Mom said with a smile.
"Yay! Thank you mom! Who will be teaching me?"
"It says here some boy about two years older will be teaching you. His name is Michael Clifford."
"Michael Clifford?"
"Well it says here that he plays in a band called 5 Seconds of Summer. Do you know that band?"
"No, but I guess I'll find out tomorrow."
So this is the first chapter of the book. Btw don't judge my writing, I'm only 12 but that doesn't matter. So Anna is a 17 year old girl who lives in Texas. She loves punk/rock music and has tons of band posters in her room.
