Awsten is here

The discovery and episode 1

Me and my friends, Justice and Scarlet, are talking about TV shows we would watch as a kid. There was many that we mentioned that most kids would watch, like the Teletubies, Spongebob, and Bear in a Big Blue House. Justice and Scarlet go on about their favourite episodes of each show mentioned.

After a few minutes of talking about our favourite shows, we start talking about the obscure and scary shows. Most of them were just scary to us as young children. There was one in particular that we were all scared of. Awsten is Here. None of us could remember much about it, except that it scared us but would watch it anyway, like something was forcing us to.

After that, we stop talking about it and go to the park. Once I get home, I ask my parents about it. Surely they would know more about it. They both look at me confused.

"You never watched a show called Awsten is Here, honey. When ever you said you were watching it, it was just a black screen." That can't be true. I remember watching it, so do my friends.

"Ok." I go to my bedroom and sit at my desk. I turn on my computer and search Awsten is Here. Nothing. Only one link.

That can't be right. Did it just disappear or something? My curiosity got the better of me. I click on the link and immediately a video starts playing. Deafening, muffled, and somewhat static music plays as all the characters are shown one at a time.

First is Geoff; he is wearing black jeans and a black and red striped shirt. His hair is red and one of his eyes is crimson.

Then Otto; he is wearing white jeans and a white and Sakura pink striped shirt. His hair matches his shirt; one half cherry blossom pink the other snow white. One of his eyes is red. I remember that he only appears every few episodes.

Last is Awsten, the main character; he's also wearing black jeans but was also wearing a royal blue ringleader coat. His hair is blue with black streaks. Both of his eyes are crimson.

Once the horribly deafening music stops, it cuts to a scene showing all of them. They are all sitting in a forest. Otto is rocking himself back and forth, mumbling something inaudible to himself. Geoff is manically smiling to something off camera, before whispering something to Awsten. Awsten smiles as he listens to Geoff. He looks directly into the camera.

A muffled, repetitive song plays in the background. Awsten, still looking directly  into the camera, starts talking, "We have a special episode for you tonight. We are going to be preform a very special act."

It's at this point, I realise that none of them are blinking and just staring at the camera. I start to feel sick as I try to pause the video but it wasn't working. I try to unplug the computer but it won't. It's like it's stuck in the wall.

Suddenly, I start to hear blood curdling screams coming from the video. Looking back up, I see all of them bleeding from their eyes, screaming in pain. Why? What happened? What ever it was, this definitely isn't for kids.

"STOP HURTING US!!!" Otto screams at the camera. It seems like he was talking to me. That can't be possible.

I go to walk out of my room, I'm so scared. What was happening? Once I open my bedroom door, I see them all in front of me. How? There's no way this could be real!

Geoff walks behind me, stopping me from going back into my room. Awsten approaches me, showing that he has a toothbat. Otto just stands behind Awsten, seemingly muttering something to himself or maybe Awsten.

I feel someone hold my arms behind my back. As I fight back, I feel a sharp pain go through my body. I black out.

Screaming, I wake up. What happened? Was it just a dream? I check my phone, to see I have one message from Scarlet.

'Are you still coming to the park?'

I immediately go onto my computer to see that the video is on and a new character is there.

That are wearing black jeans with a black and purple shirt. They also has amethyst purple hair. That's me! I pass out.

Once I wake up, I see Awsten, Otto, and Geoff standing around me. "Welcome to the show!" Awsten is the first to speak. They all smile creepily at me.
