Once a year 20 people from across the world over 18 years of age are chosen to stay at a luxurious manor for a week for free. Participants that have gone say it was the best experience of they're life and if you ever got the letter don't let the opportunity go to waste.  Andrew was skeptical about the whole thing, especially staying with random strangers... But he had nothing special going on his life, maybe getting out was good for him.

So there he was. Standing outside the huge manor. It was quite the journey to find since it was so deep in the woods, it was already dark, and it had been raining. It was unfortunate but Andrew didn't bring an umbrella.

He knocked on the door two time while waiting with his luggage in hand... No answer. He was about to knock again until the doors suddenly opened. This startled him a bit but he didn't waste anytime to step in the house.

Conveniently there were a pile of warm fuzzy towels on the table next to him. He took one assuming that they were there for the guests since it was pouring outside.

Andrew walked down the halls until he found a slightly opened door with other people inside. Hesitantly poking his head inside one of the men noticed him and shouted "Hey there's the last one!" everyone turned their heads to face the albino that has ruined the conversation, his cheeks and ears started warming up as he slowly stepped into the room looking down in embarrassment.

"Welcome!" said a girl with long red hair, but before anyone could reply a loud voice was heard through the manor...

"Welcome all! My name is Miss Nightingale, I will be your host here at the manor. I see you've all had a nice journey here! Since you've all made it we shall begin with the fun! How do we feel about a game of hide and seek! The rules are oh so simple really."

Suddenly the fireplace turned into a rack of weapons. Everyone looked a bit distressed at the sight but no one said anything.

"Here's how you play! Everyone will pick one weapon of their choice then find a hiding place anywhere in the manor. One of my hunters will come out after 5 minutes and play seeker. If they find you you'll have a choice to fight back and kill them, if this happens everyone will be given another five minutes until one of my meaner hunters comes to play. However if you lose m hunter will kill that person and the other hiders will be able to progress with the game!"

The room fell silent. Everyone looked at each other confused, some scared. Killing wasn't fun.

"Is this some kind of joke?" a man with rather big front teeth and a red tie said.

"Haha.. No no, this is a game. Games are fun! You will enjoy this.." the voice said again.

"This is stupid. I'm leaving." the man replied before leaving the room.

"Your time starts now survivors!"

No one really said anything. It was an extremely awkward silence...

"S- Soooooo.. this isn't real right? I'm sure no ones actually gonna die, why don't we just play along! I mean we just got here we cant judge what they do for fun!" This girl had freckles and brown hair, She picked up an axe with a smile before running to the door  " Ya snooze ya loose!" she said before running off.

I guess her positive energy effected everyone because they all started picking their weapons and looking for their hiding places too. Tracy didn't realize how hard she was shaking until she felt a hand on her shoulder and basically jumped through the roof.

"I'm awfully sorry I didn't mean to scare you!" The girl said "It just seemed you were shaking really bad and I wanted to see if you were okay?"

"Oh.. yea it just I- I guess I'm just a bit scared..."

"Don't be! We can hide together! Maybe you can be my eyes and find us a good hiding spot." She said with a smile.

The nice lady calmed Tracy's nerves but looking down at the woman's cane she couldn't help but wonder.. "Umm, Ma'am are you... uhh like blind?.."

"Yup, you don't mind?.."

"No! Not at all! Ill be your eyes!" the blond said with a bit of blush rising.

"Thank you. I'm Helena."

"Tracy."

They both laughed and chose their weapon of choice before linking arms and walking out.

"Alright survivors your time is up!" Miss. Nightingales voice echoed.

A "hunter" was let out into the manor.

It was a bit scary but the hunter wasn't very good at seeking. For the first few minutes the big guy would just roam around the hallways and look under tables and chairs it wasn't till the saw the lawyer at the entry doors struggling to get them unlocked. Surprisingly the man didn't notice the hunter behind him until he was hit across the head with a big stuffed shark. The back of his head was bleeding, he looked behind him about to yell at the person who did that until he saw the person that was standing above him... "Leo...?" was all the lawyer said before he screamed and pleaded for his life.

Once the hunter was done with his job the voice came again.

"Freddy Riley has been found! All other survivors may return to their rooms or other worries."

No one heard the mans screams, they were all hiding far away from where the incident happened. They still thought this was part of the game and that no one actually dies.

Rereading this I've realized its actually shit... But for my sake just pretend its scarier 0v0
