Did you ever feel like the sky wanted to crush you? Did you ever feel like the earth wanted to shallow you? Did you ever feel like the air lacked oxygen? Did you ever feel like your heart broke into a million pieces? Did you ever feel like this?
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I looked at the window of the car. The driver ingored me, and I didn't try to start a conversation. My wavy, golden hair reached my midback. It was now a big mess and I already dreaded the hours I would have to spend to fix it. My piercing, silver eyes looked tired. They held a great pain and sadness within. Dark, long eyelashes surounded my big eyes. To other people I would look like the definiton of beauty. To me? The only thing I saw was a little girl. A little girl that was hurt, broken. A little girl that struggled with the pain and sadness.

I felt one tear slip down my cheek. This was the first time I had cried after what happened with my parents. This was the first time my walls broke down. But me being me, I refused to break down completely. I may be on the point of breaking down mentally, but I won't be weak.

My name is Selene Angel Winter Crayton. I'm the heir to the fortune of the Craytons. I'm not their real daughter. Jonah Elliot Crayton and Scarlett Ziva Crayton couldn't have any childeren. When they decided to adopt a child, they saw me. I don't know why, but they wanted me. Nothing could change their minds, even though everyone knew I was a trouble child. I already had a lot of attitude back then.

My father and mother are my saviours. They noticed that I was struggling against something. And that I was losing. I never told them what happened, but they knew it broke me. It shattered me. It destroyed me. It wrecked me.

My parents were rich. And they deserved it. My parents were the founders of the S.A. The Spy Association. This buisness was filled with extraordinary people. Everyone here was the smartest of the smartest, the strongest of the strongest, the best of the best. We are the ultimate people.

When my parents adopted me, they tried to hide it. But hiding something from me is nearly impossible. When I found out, they explained everything. I listened to their story, and my stubborn self back then, wanted to start training immediately. I started the training as the youngest person ever. I started the training at six years old. True, I didn't do any field work in the beginning. I would help decode things, be back-up or I helped in our little hospital. But from the moment I turned 10 the real missions started. Everyone found out I had an amazing talent.

Now I was the highest rank spy walking on this earth. I got missions from the R.L. That was short for Red List. The Red List were the most dangerous missions, after the D.L. missions, with an %99 chance to die. The D.L. missions are the impossible missions. D.L. stands for Death List. It's a fitting name, if you think about the fact that no one has ever survived a D.L. mission. That's right, there is a %100 chance to die.

Right now, I was driving towards the headquarters of our association. About ten mintes and fourty-four seconds will it be five o'clock in the moring. Fourty-three seconds. I sighed and closed my eyes. I was stressed out ever since I got the call. All the highest ranked spies were called to gather. That had never happened before. It was too dangerous.

Our association had many enemies and they all wanted us, the highest ranking spies, death. We were the ultimate people, we made this association strong. There were fifteen spies, me included, who managed to get the highest rank. I was the youngest though. We were spread across the whole world, waiting for a mail, telling us our new mission. I was in France when I got the call.

Our headquearter was good hidden somewhere on the continent England. After a lot of turns, we finally reached a door. I stepped out of the car and walked towards the door. I opened it and walked in. I was now standing in an empty room. There was nothing here, at least, that is what normal people would say. If you looked closely you could see that the wall had a slightly darker spot. It could be coincidence, but there was one thing spies didn't believe in, that was coincidence. I bend down and knocked some code on the wall. Suddenly a hidden door across the room opened. I smiled when I saw it was my best friend that had opened it.

The door could only be opened from the inside, there was no other way. I looked at the tall and muscular boy, standing behind the door. He had brown hair and beautiful blue eyes, that made any normal girl drool. That was my best friend, Jason Tyler Clement.

''Princess! Long time no see, how was France?'' Jason asked.

''Same old.'' I replied in a cold voice.

I should explain. I have like three different personalities in me. The first one is as cold as snow and sharp as ice. This is the girl that was born after that awful night. The night that I lost everything I cared about. She was unfaced by danger. She didn't know fear. She was the perfect spy. The second one is witout a personality, she can become anyone she likes. This helps my other half on missions, a lot. Especially when I need to go undercover. The third is me. The girl I was before I saw the real world. The naïve and tomboy girl. She's still within me. Maybe one day, the three of them will become one.

''Don't be like that. I'm your bestest friend in the widestest world!'' Jason smiled.

I smiled at him and chuckled. Jason was the only one who could make Winter feel anything. I named my personalities. The cold and icy one's name is Winter. The one without a personality is Angel. And last, the old me, is named Selene.

''Let's go. We are exactly fourty-five seconds late.'' I said, the smile lingering on my lips.

No one needed to now that I was breaking down. I could survive this on my own. I'm strong. I managed to hide what happened ten years ago. I managed to hide the emotions, thought and everything that concered that matter. I was fine, I was going to survive. How bad could such a meeting be? And right there, I jinxed everyone.
