By the time the two make it back to the house, the sun was setting, and Brett was practically caring the smaller and the basket. He walks up to the house and nervously smiles at Aunt Becky, she gives him a grimace but smiles at Aiden.

"Let me get the door." She beats them to the door and holds it open for Brett to drag Aiden in. "Just leave the basket on the counter and take him to his room, I'll get the couch ready for you."

"Yes ma'am."

"Nooooo, Brett sleep sleeps with me!" Aiden wraps his arms lazily around the tallers neck. "Stay with me Bretty pie!"

Aunt Becky sighs and rolls her eyes, taking the baskey and putting it on the counter.

"Go on, but so help me, you better not lay your hands on him." Aunt Becky shoos them out of the room.

Brett nods, blushing greatly as he pulls the smaller down the hall and into his room. He lays the smaller on the bed, smiling down at him as he hugs the pillow. Brett changes into shorts and a t-shirt, deciding against changing Aiden, not wanting to anger Aunt Becky.

"Scooch over, Bretty pie wants in." Brett laughs as Aiden opens his arms wide.

"Come here Bretty pie."

.........

"How could you date him after what he did to you Aiden?" Aunt Becky stirs the pancake batter, a little too agressively.

"Because Aunt Becky, he changed-"

"How could someone change in less than a few weeks, not even a month for christ sakes! He is using you, I don't know what for, but he is using you."

Aiden looks down at the counter, frowing and fighting back tears. His hands tighten into tight fist on his lap, refusing to listen and believe to what his aunt was telling him.

"Aiden-"

"NO!" The loud out burst makes Aunt Becky stop. "I won't let you ruin this, this makes me happy. HE makes me happy."

"But Aiden listen-"

"No, you listen. He makes me happy, happier than I've ever been. So what if he made me cry a few thousand times, so what if he humiliated me in front of the whole school. You don't think I haven't doubt myself everyday, asking myself, 'why the hell is someone like Brett Adams dating someone like me, Aiden Bishop, a tiny ugly weird annoying scrawny gay teen?' Aunt Becky, I question and doubt myself, not him, myself. So Aunt Becky, let me have this, let me feel like a someone, let me have this feeling of being liked, before it all goes away. And so what if in the end it ends up with me a mess and him being the happy-like-it-never-happened one, atleast I get to say, 'I dated someone and felt happy.'" Aiden stands walking out before she can say anything, he runs into a hard surface and looks up.

"Brett-"

"I-I think I'm going to go home..." Brett turns and walks away.

"No..."

Aiden looks back and sees Aunt Becky frowning.

"No..."

~~~~~~~
A week has gone by, and Brett was absolutely misreable. The taller brunette acting like it never happened though, acting like himself around the school and his friends, but being miserable in the private of his dorm. He missed the smaller, greatly, but he hated knowing he made Aiden feel and think that way. He didn't however have to avoid in the hallways however, it seemed Aiden was avoiding the other for him.
"Goddamn it Brett, what did you do!? Where is he!" Wendy yells, pushing the taller against the wall.
"Wendy-"
"No John! He did something, he knows something! So please Brett, I'm not asking, I'm begging you, please." Wendy sobs, hugging John tightly.
"Brett, shes worried...Neither of us have seen or heard from him since last Friday. Not even Aunt Becky-"
"What?" Brett looks up sharply.
"She said he left to come to school like usual, but then when we called asking where he was everything went down hill. We assumed he just was at home still, but now we are more than worried, especially knowing now even you don't knwo where he is." John hold the smaller female friend close.
"Wait, he left, but never came to school? Has she called the police?" Brett slowly starts to panick.
"She was waiting for us to find anything out from you..." John frowns.
"Well tell her to call them." Brett walks over to his closet and grabs a jacket.
"Wait, where are you going?" Wendy looks up and asks.
"To go find him." Brett walks out the door.
"Wait what!?"
"Hey!"
Brett storms down the dorm room hallway, letting everyone know to get out of his way, quickly. He had an idea of where the smaller cold be, hoping, praying he would be there.
"Damn it Aiden, please be there."
.......
Brett pulls up to the house, jumping out and running in the direction of the beach and cove. It took him some time to get down to the shore, but he didn't stop to view the sea, but ran straight towards the small caves along the shore.
"Aiden! Aiden are you there? Please I-" Brett stops, letting out a sigh as he sees the smaller sitting on a small rock, the small rock sitting before a small window to view the sea and sky.
"I never doubted you, I doubted myself, not you. I-" Aiden looks back at Brett, tear after tear rolling down his face. "Brett-"
"Shut up Aiden." Brett quickly walks over and pulls the smaller into a hug.
Aiden lets out a heartwrenching sob, wrapping his arms tightly around the taller. Brett frowns, holding the smaller close.
"Aiden-"
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean it, I promise Brett, just please dont leave me!" Aiden sobs, his breathing becoming irregular.
"Hey, its okay, I promise. I'm not leaving, never." Brett whispers, kissing the top of Aiden's head. "Lets go, come on."
"Where? I don't want to go to school or home I just want-"
"I know, lets go to my place this time." And with that Brett picks the smaller up, Aiden wraps his legs around the taller and nudges his face into the crook of his neck. "Shh baby, its okay, I got you."
Aiden nods, sniffling and hugging Brett taller.
"Lets go home."
