Airpods x Reader

It was February 21,2020.

I finished my last period of the day and it was now time to go home.

"Thank the Gods.." I whisper underneath my breath as I exit the schools main building.

I would rather do online school than being stuck in a place like this.

I take a turn and see London talking with Siannah.

"Hey guys.." I say as I approach them with a faint sigh.

"Hi!" Siannah replies with a smile on her lips, she turns to look at London and they nod their heads, as if they were communicating with their eyebrows or some shit.

"Wanna come over to Siannahs place, Y/N?" London adds as they slip on one of their AirPods.

"Sure-lemme just ask my mom before she freaks out.." I say as I take out my phone from my pocket.

As I ended the call with my mom, I smile and nod at the two in front of me.

"she said yes, as long as I get home by 5."

The two grab me by my arms and dragged me like a rag doll.

"HONEY IM HOME!!" London screams as they open the door to Siannahs room.

"You can just throw your backpack wherever you want." Siannah says as she throws hers at London.

"Trynna kill me now..I see." London say as they grab their AirPod case and swings it at Siannah.

I awkwardly stand there, watching the two fight. Before I know it, one of them is on the floor and the other is sitting on their stomach.

"London get off!!!"

"No."

"Get off me or no Mac and cheese for you!" Siannah threatens London with the sacred-holy Mac and cheese.

London quickly gets off in the speed of light, "Don't you dare threaten me by taking away the love of my life!" London sits on Siannahs bed, sighing before taking Siannahs AirPods case.

I sit down besides them, not paying attention to the AirPods case that was firmly held in Londons grasp.

"So..what do you guys want to do?" I say as I lay flat on my back on Siannahs bed.

"Well..we can draw-" before Siannah could finish her sentence, she was cut off by London.

"YES. DRAWING!!" London pulls out Siannahs sketch book and turns the pages.

As soon as London reached the clear section of the sketchbook, Siannah grabs the pens and markers and tells London to tear out three pages.

London obeys Siannahs orders and tears out three pages.

"Lets draw random things from my room." Siannah says as she sits down on her bed.

We all agree and grabbed a marker,I laid there with the marker in my hands, not knowing what to draw.

I look around the bed and there it was, Siannahs AirPods case.

I smile brightly as I grab the AirPods case, the smooth texture was in the palm of my hand. I lightly blush and set it down besides me.

As I began to draw, I realized how much detail it carried. The beautiful light pink that nobody ever pays attention to.

I felt so connected to her AirPods and I'm not even a device..

"Y/N, hows the drawing going?" London says in between small giggles.

'right..the drawing.'

"Its going well-"I say as I try to hold in my embarrassment.

"Mhmm.." Siannah says as she puts the cap back on her navy blue marker.

"Who are you simping for?' Siannah brings up as she scrolls on her instagram.

"Not anyone,theyre all crusty." London replies as they shade in their drawing.

"I gotta agree with that one." Siannah and I say at the same time.

I instantly think back to Siannah's AirPods..I just can't get the color out of my mind.

The way it fit perfectly in my hands was beautiful.. almost as if I were to be in love.

"You sure do zone out a lot Y/N."

I blush a bit and look away, "Its a thing I do-"

"I can tell." London says bluntly as they finish their drawing.

A couple of minutes pass as Siannah plays Hamilton on her TV.

"Seventh grade sucks.." I admit as I sit up.

"Just realized?" They both said as their eyes were still drawn towards the screen.

"Yep..kinda did..so how was valentines day?" I add as I look back at the screen.

"Oh..London bought me a new AirPod case and I got London a new hoodie cause they're a simp for those-" Siannah says as she tosses her AirPods at me.

I blush but luckily the room was as dark as my soul.

"Yeah, Siannah also got me new markers." London adds.

"Right,I forgot about those." Siannah says as she playfully hits London's back with one of her Squishmallows.

"StOp bUlLyiNg mE!" London grabs the other squish mallow from the bed and tackles Siannah with it.

There it was again, the trojan war.

I look around and spot Siannah's airpod case, I picked it up and fidget with it.

"This is a nice case.." I say as I gently rub my fingers across it, my heart skips a beat and I realized that I'm touching a beauty.

"Thanks!" Siannah says as she leans back, her eyes drawn at the screen again.

"You seem to like that case a lot, Y/N." London says, smirking.

"I-uhh-yeah! it's my favorite colour actually!"  I say, my palms sweat as my heart beats faster.
London takes away the airpods and throws it up in the air and catches it.
My eyes widened, scared that the airpods would fall and get damaged..that's the last thing i want.

[...]

"Hey it's 4:30..I think we should start walking you home.." Siannah says in a sad tone, she gets up and puts on her shoes.
London and I follow her actions.

"I have to go early too, my mom needs me to clean my room." London groans as they grab their backpack from the other side of the room.

I look down,upset.

'What if this is the last time i get to see those airpods..' I think as i grab the airpods and fidget with it once more.
"Kiss it if you're gonna miss it." London says winking.

"No i'm not gonna-" London cuts me off as they take the airpods away from my grasp,giving it a small kiss.

Jealousy floods through my veins as I snatch it back.

I gently kissed the airpods in my hand. Blush runs across my cheeks as I toss them to Siannah.

"See? It wasn't that bad now, was it?" London adds as we all walk towards the door.

"I guess it wasn't." I say as I remember the moment.
The smooth yet satisfying pink case sitting on my lips for a small second.

"Here's my stop." I say, as I approached my house.
"Great! See yah on Monday!" Siannah says with a bright smile across her face.

I quickly thank Siannah and London for inviting me over.

As I reached my room, I throw myself on the bed.

Today wasn't anything like I expected it to be. Yet I was thankful for it all.
