"Hey, (f/n)?" Your friend asked for your attention.
"Yeah? What is it?" You asked, looking up from your iPhone(just imagine you do have one if you don't).
"Have you heard of those rumors? The one about the strange operator?" He/She asked.
"N-no...not really. What that about?" You asked.
"Some teen called a number she found somewhere and some weirdo asked her why she was afraid of faceless people. Of course she told the guy that they don't exist and she hung up. Now everyone wants to know where the phone is and who the guy is." Your friend explained.
"And..? Why are you telling me this?" You asked.
"Cause I got the number, and I want you to dial it." He/She then showed a piece of paper.
"H-how did y-you get that?" You studdered.
"I just asked for it from the girl." He/She answered.
"Hold on, why do I have to take the call?" You asked confusingly.
"Cause I'm punished for...well...torchering the neighbors dog." He/She admitted, blushing.
"Seriously? You know that old lady loves her dog to death." You said.
"I know, but the retarded thing was alone and I couldn't resist." He/She smiled.
"Fine, but if it's some computer geek I'm hanging up right away." You said.
"Alright, I'll just lend you the paper and let you use it when you get home." He/She then handed the piece of paper to you. One of the things you noticed was a familiar symbol of an 'X' over an 'O'.
"After you're finished, tell me everything tomorrow. Got it?" He/She asked.
"Okay, but I hope this isn't some sick prank you're pulling." You said.
"Oh, believe me, I'm just as confused and curious as you." He/She replied.
~Time Skippy-Skip~
When you were finally home, you got tons of Facebook messages from (bf/n)on your phone, asking if you made the call yet. In which you replied with 'not yet'. You then put your backpack away and pulled out your iPhone again with the paper with the number to the mystery person.
With a steady hand, you dialed the number with your thumb. You put the paper with the number away and placed your phone to your ear. At first all you hear was the ringing.
After what felt like five minutes, you were about to hang up, that is, until the ringing was replaced with some sort of static noise. It started hurting your ears.
After the static noise died down you started speaking.
"Um, hello?"
Silence, then a male voice replied. "Hi... How are you?"
"I'm fine... What about you?" You asked.
"I'm okay." He plainly answered.
"Just, okay?" You asked.
"Well...I...um." He mumbled.
"Come on. You can tell me." You said.
"Um, can I ask you a question?" He asked.
"You just did." You sarcastically said.
You got a cute chuckle from the guy.
"Go ahead."
"A-are you afraid of faceless people?" He asked.
"Well, what is there to be afraid of?" You answered with another question. "Yeah, it might spook some people and scare them off, but that faceless look is what makes them special."
"Do you believe in faceless people?" He asked.
"Hmm" You hummed. "Even though I've never encountered a faceless person before, doesn't mean they don't exist; just that they're a rarity."
"..."
"Hello?" You called out.
"S-Slenderman."
"What?"
"...That's my name. Slenderman."
"Oh...What a, unique name. I'm (f/n)." You replied.

After that day, you told your friend that...some random weirdo was on the other line, saying some cheesy pick up lines and creeped you out. But in all honesty, every night you would talk to Slenderman about your life and him vice versa. You didn't know why, but the two of you kinda connected, each day you would want to speak to Slendy face-to-face(Slenderman not telling you about his 'hobby').
Of course that want turned to a need one day, you telling him that you really want to see him. On that day, he agreed with you and asked to meet in private, in the forest, tomorrow.
When the day finally arrived, the two of you planned to meet by a weeping willow in the middle of a field. At first, it was just you. But when Slenderman arrived, you knew why he was named 'Slenderman'. He was a tall faceless creature in a simple suit that looked rather nice on him.
At first you were a bit creeped out, but soon that feeling was replaced with curiosity. You asked him lots of questions, most of them about how he came to be, or why he lives in the forest. But after a short while, you started talking to each other liked you did on the phone with him.
Even after you saw his real self, you still treated him like your best friend, which surprised him a lot.
And you two connected even more than before, this small friendship bloomed into something even more. Almost like love.
When you were finally 18,(and if you are, just say when you were finally able to leave your parent's place)Slenderman invited you into his home deep within the woods. How could you not pass this opportunity with your secret lover. Obviously you said yes.
When you finally arrived at the mansion, you meted the other Creepypasta's and were either friends or acquaintances with all of them. It was three months that you lived with them.
Then, the best thing in your life happened.
Slenderman confessed his love for you. And you did as well.
Instantly, you and Slender became an item and were perfect for each other. Everyone was happy for you two.
After two years, Slenderman purposed to you. In which you accepted like some school girl would.
And, let's just say after the wedding, the night was quite magical.
