Obviously, I do not own BTS. They are not my intellectual property - I only created Sefina, the other original characters, and the world they live in - all of which DO belong to me. Please do not copy my work. I know royalty BTS stories are fairly common, so yes, there may be similarities between this story and other ones you may have read. Let me know if this story is too similar to anything you have read on this website, and I will adjust it as need be. I'm not here to unintentionally copy someone else's ideas - that being said, don't intentionally copy my ideas. I've never had issues with plagiarism and don't want to start.

Secondly, this is a work of fiction. It is set in a fantasy world, and any similarities to existing people and events is purely coincidental. And if you see a grammar error/something that is wrong, tell me! I try to edit my stories the best I can, but mistakes slip through.

Okay, enough of the serious stuff. Below, you'll find a list of terms and places (pronunciations included) in Sefina and Jimin's world. It might be helpful to return here throughout the story to get a refresher of what I am talking about in my writing. I'll also be adding terms and pictures as I write - so check back here if something is confusing!

Ready? Let's get it. And yeah, we're dealing with Prince Jimin vibes in this story...so...have at it:

BLUE BLOODED GLOSSARY 

Amethyst Sea: Southernmost body of water in the Mavacurian Empire. Wraps around the Hilmore Isles and separates it from Carleon, the nearest mainland territory. Is named after the deep purple hue the water turns during the night.

Avenir: (Av-uh-near) Capital city of the Carleon territory in the Mavacurian Empire.

Carleon: (Carl-e-on) Large, wealthy territory on the southern edge of the Mavacurian Empire. Known as the "head" of the empire - has premiere universities that train doctors, lawyers, and professors. Languages spoken: Mavacurian, Carleonese.

Crown: Unit of currency in the Mavacurian empire.

Finishing school: School for young, noble women that teaches academic subjects and etiquette as a preparation for entry into society. Typically focuses on proper social skills and establishing connections for future marriages. Most notable is the Tashang Academy for Elite Young Ladies, located on the outskirts of Mikido.

Hilmore Isles: Tropical island chain on the southwestern edge of the Mavacurian Empire. Is the smallest territory in the empire, and as a result, has the least amount of representation in Mavacurian nobility and politics. Specializes in sugar, coffee, and indigo production. Major exports also include coconuts, bananas, pineapples, cotton, and fish. Governed by the Kim family. Capital city: Pohewater. Languages spoken: Mavacurian and Pohetian.

Lady-in-waiting: A female personal assistant to a royal woman or high-ranking noblewoman. Is often a lower-ranked noblewoman and is more of a companion, confidant, and secretary to the higher ranked woman than a true servant. 

Mavacuria: (Ma-va-cure-e-uh) Largest empire in the world - specializes in military, engineering, and metal production. Governed by a monarchy that has absolute rule over all affairs - military, economic, cultural, etc. Noble representatives from each territory advise the monarchy on the Silver Council. At the beginning of the story, Mavacuria is ruled by the second generation of the Park Dynasty.

Mikido: (Me-key-doh) Capital city of the Mavacurian Empire and seat of the monarchy. Is also the capital city of Tashang, the northern-most territory of the empire. Located on the mouth of the Mihashi River and is the main port city in Izaku Bay. 

Pohewater: (Po-hey-water) Capital city of the Hilmore Isles. Small port city that exports tropical raw goods and imports finished goods from the rest of the empire.

Royal Military Academy: The Mavacurian Empire's military academy that trains noblemen to be officers in the army and navy. Enrollment typically lasts two years and is open to men only. Located in Valport.

Sihan: (She-han) Most recently conquered territory in Mavacurian Empire after a twenty-year war. Specializes in iron and ore mining, as well as grain and vegetable farms. Before being acquisitioned, had a representative government comprised of representatives voted to power from each city and town. Languages spoken: Sihanese.

Silver Council: The head advisory council for the Mavacurian king and queen. Is comprised of every noble head of household in the Mavacurian territories. Typically, only three or four Silver Council advisors are present in Mikido at a time - the whole council is only called for major decisions. Women are only allowed to sit on the Silver Council if they are the last living member in the family or any remaining male members are deemed unfit.

Tashang: (Ta-Shang)Northern-most territory in the Mavacurian Empire. Mountainous region specializing in gold and diamond production, and is seen as the seat of culture and high-society. Languages spoken: Mavacurian.

Valport: Military base located on the center of the western coast of the Mavacurian Empire. Houses the Royal Military Academy and is the central military port.

Yulemas: Holiday that celebrates the winter solstice. Mavacurian tradition dictates spending the morning doing acts of community service, then spending the evening giving presents to loved ones and feasting on local delicacies.

All of this is the total Mavacurian Empire. Keep in mind that there are more notable cities and towns, but these are just the ones that are mentioned in the story :)
