I am going to tell you of a legend of a child, but first I must tell you the fore-story.
This story tells of two races that existed to be sworn enemies, these enemies were the succubi and the grim reapers. The succubi were lust thirsty demons that lured any man with their sexual instincts and killed them in the most gruesome ways you could imagine and worse.
And then there are the grim reapers. The grim reapers were those in the darkness seeking and killing those who have strayed from the path of the light, they are mainly the bane of the succubi's existence. The grim reapers have always been the slayers of these wild and feral creatures of demonic existence, even if they didn't mean harm to anyone. The grim reapers drove the succubi into hiding and in turn made the succubi hate them even more than they already did.
However, there was one succubus that wanted nothing but to live a happy life, her name was Cupid. A calm, gentle woman with deep ocean blue eyes, raven black hair, she had a light tan, and just like the other succubi, black demon wings similar to a bat's, and long, skinny black tail.
Cupid didn't care for killing humans and using them to fulfill her sexual desires, this causes her to question her own existence as a succubus, and despise herself because the other succubi despised her for who she was and her decision of loving instead of killing, tending to make her bottle up her feelings and becoming much more antisocial. She was always different from other succubi. Kind and soft. Don't confuse this kindness for weakness as she could still handle herself in a fight and brutally kill if necessary, she just didn't want to. She had always been a failure to her species and they despised her for it. Specifically, one nasty-looking succubus who she and her hunting crew would bully cupid for being such a "weak sap" she would say. If there was any person she would unleash her killer instincts upon it would be her, If it were up to her, they would just disappear and never return.
She would rather take a stroll through the forest and enjoy life at its greatest instead of raping and killing it.
"It's ok, I should have been paying more attention." the man said with a calm tone.
"Are you a grim reaper?" Cupid asked while shaking immensely. "Yes I am, why do you ask?" The strange man asked slightly more calmly.
"If you're a grim reaper then surely you must know that I'm a succubus, right?" "yes, I know that. By the way, my name is Azael. What's yours"
Cupid just stared at him like he was crazy, but was also slightly surprised at his non-murderous attitude she normally gets from everyone around her. "Um, I'm Cupid, nice to meet you Azael. But I still question why you didn't attack me as soon as you saw me?" Azael looked down in slight sadness.
"I try to look for the good in people even if it's a succubus like you." Cupid was taken aback by his answer, and she began to feel warm inside. All of a sudden it had started to rain and drenched the two.
"We should probably get out of here," Azael stated briefly before he grew a dragon's wings and tail, somewhat like her own, and boosted himself up into the air. The wind from Azael's boost had thrown Cupid back onto the ground and she sat there stunned at his new transformation. "Shall we meet back here tomorrow?" Azael yelled while still hovering in the air. "Yeah, let's do that." Azael gave Cupid one last thumbs up before flying off into the distance.
Cupid got up and walked back to her home, as she got home she was completely oblivious to everyone's stares as she was walking past them.
"What's with her?" one said, "who cares." Replied another as Cupid passed by them totally ignoring their stares of hatred and disgust.
